Seems like a no brainer to buy especially if you rent you bay home out in the summer and vice version with your mountain house. The only issue I have the with the resort as an avid skier is that its only 500m vertical elevation which is relatively little compared with most ski destinations. On the plus side the base is higher than places like Bansko which should mean better snow coverage.
Very interesting information. I don't ski and Warren doesn't ski any longer or at least not at this point due to an MCL tear. Thank you for the information.
Yes, however I asked to see it written somewhere, it was stated to me by a residency attorney. Since it was a recent update but unable to be verified I decided to stick with what is available in writing.
My husband and I plan to start our retirement travel after he retires next year. Our current plan is to travel world wide as long as we are healthy. We do not plan to move overseas permanently. I watched many of your videos and was wondering about the tax issues. Did you need to pay income tax to the country that you got your residency? Is there any advantage of being a resident vs a visitor in a country that you don't want to retire permanently? Thanks!
We do not have residency anywhere else other than the US where we do pay taxes each year. It is very important to check taxation if you plan to do residency. Some countries have extremely high taxes on worldwide income.

I really want to go to Bulgaria, looks gorgeous and Ukraine 💙💛 Lviv . Thanks for all the info on all the places you've traveled 😊

It's great to hear about new places in Montenegro. We really have enjoyed our time there.
That's wonderful. We are glad you enjoyed it.
Another grest video showing what looks like a great country to use as a base like you do.
Glad you enjoyed it 😁

Thanks 😊

@@WarrenJulieTravel hi thanks for replying.iv seen it wrote down somwhere just looking at my phone as i took a picture a couple of months ago😁😁
I read that stray dogs are a problem in Bansko Do you find that a problem there?
We have not seen this problem during our 3 visits. We understand in some of the very rural parts this may be an issue.
How is it trying to get by with English up in the mountain communities of Montenegro? Have you found that many people speak it as a second language?
We use Google translate to communicate. These little towns do not have many English speaking people.
1st of May and 50 Celsius? Are you sure it is Celsius and not Farenheit?
We are speaking Fahrenheit

@@WarrenJulieTravel We do not plan to do residency in any country. I misunderstood your visa status in Montenegro. Thanks for the reply!
Do you have a real estate contact in Kolasin?
Please email WarrenJulieTravel@gmail.com I’ll put you in contact with my contacts.
Alittle confused , if you are required to stay there for 10months out of year ,what if travel for work every month ? 🤔
It would not be possible to have this type of residency and travel that often. The corporation residency would be the best option for this lifestyle.
