I love what you have accomplished with this mini bass boat! Great Job!
Hey thanks so much eh! Its been an absolute blast!
Love to see someone having a blast no matter what size the fish is, awesome boat man!
Thanks and thanks man! Truth is I just love getting out and fishing! Ill take what I can get. Its not like Florida where they throw a wacky worm and casually catch a 8lber and are like "meh" lol
Cool video. I love to see people having fun catching fish no matter the size.
Thanks dude! I just love fishing!
Awesome! Can't wait to see the full size bass boat resto now lol
You and me both!
Nice build! Keep up the vids those old rude motors really kick I hear
Thanks dude! Ya motor has been great!
THIS THING IT AWESOME. I got a boat just like this and I’m currently building a front cast deck just like that. Actually took some advice from the building vid.
Thanks man! And that’s great to hear eh
Exciting hobby! Fisherman.
Thank you
Good job on the boat....great vids
Glad you like it! Thanks
Nice rig, well done!
Thanks! 👍
Great build. Did you have to remove the large measuring plate on the deck for some reason? Loved that little detail on the build vid.
Thanks man and it was a metal bump board I put there for the shot.
Love the boat man! glad to see another 12ft build!
Glad you like it!
On the good ole heddon torpedo. Good shit.
One of my favourite lures ever!
Inspired me man!
Glad to hear it dude!
There are 3 good size municipal lakes just a few miles from home. They all have a max restriction of 20 HP. I appreciate a small boat . I can go where most can't, The Lighter weight is easier for an old man to handle and easier to maintain. Your boat is Sharp and seems to be laid out pretty good.
I hear yeah! And thanks I appreciate it.
sweet setup!
Thanks! Honestly it been a blast so far!
Think I’m gonna steal this build 👍🏻
lol have fun building
@@hyper.orange love a good project 😖🤣
I love all the builds guys do! The community is so cool, its all about getting out and fishing right!
Great video. Looks like it was a blast.
It was! Thanks :)
That little Evinrude pushes pretty good. They were good motors too bad they don't make them anymore. Looks like a big lake to be on in bad weather. I fish a 36000 acre reservoir in my 10ft jon but definately pick my day.
Im more then pleased with it for what it is! Although I already want a 25hp lol
Awesome, subbed! Keep em coming
Thanks man! Love to hear it and means a lot! More videos coming!
If you don’t mind, where are you fishing? This looks like a great place to go.
A bay off Lake Erie
he packs a mean lunch box poor boys down south lol
Haha! Best comment right here! The lunch box is half the fun of fishing lol
Man's gotta eat.
Cool rig I just recently finished up building my mud yacht I watched the first video of the build that wood looks to heavy for that little motor but them 2 stroke evinrudes are really reliable but Ik in the future your gonna want more speed an torque especially for bass tournaments I’d throw a brand new mercury 9.9-15-20hp 4 stroke on it definitely worth it I’d get the electric start though an wire it to your trolling motor battery so it can charge your battery when your idling around
Thanks and ou nice! And yup thats the plan, I would love a 9.9 or 25hp Merc! Its only a matter of time! For now that little evinrude is great lol
Awesome
Awesome!
Solid video man! I just posted my first fishing video and been wanting to build a little John boat or such just like that. Sweet little mini bass boat🤙🏼
Thanks dude! Boat has been amazing!
Hows the stability when you are up on the deck? The boat is still setting up higher than a bass boat. Thanks! Enjoyed your videos
Thanks eh! Its not no big boat for sure but for what it is Im very happy with the stability! I can fish on it very comforably. Its closer to the water than it looks.
Aye… there ya go 😎🤙🏽 What state are you fishing in man?
Ontario, Canada
@@hyper.orange Cool 😊
Nothing works quite like the Wacky Rig for me. Simple and extremely effective.
I hear ya, sometimes you just gotta go with old reliable eh
How stable is she. I’m thinking about getting a 14 foot v bottom with a deck and everything. It’s similar to yours just wondering about stability when I’m fishing.
It’s honestly really good! But at the same
time it is a small boat so in bigger chop you gotta be careful.
Hey, Love the build video. Do you have an idea of how fast this 6 hp evinrude pushes this boat? Thanks
Thanks! Completely fully loaded (trolling motor, battery x 2, camera gear, drone, fishing gear, food, casting deck, etc) I go around 10 mph/16kmh . Not the fastest but for an old motor Im pretty happy! Im sure it will really get to speed with all that out!
How is the stability of the while your on the casting deck
To be honest way better than I was excepting! Really stable for what it is! Only gets more wobbly in bigger chop.
First Comment
How much for the boat?
Boat, trailer, gas outboard motor was used $1500 CAD ($1111 USD) and I spent around another $1000-$1500 CAD on the trolling motor, wood, carpet supplies, paint, etc.
Now as of 05 2023 I have an even nicer trolling motor with spot lock so it really depends how you build it.
@@hyper.orange thanks, trying to pull together some cash to build something like this, killer build
Yea man do it! It’s all about getting out there eh!
@@hyper.orange couldn't agree more, I own a kayak currently and love the thing but there is a Lowe wv1240 for sale about 5 hours from me for a decent price and I'm thinking very hard about it
@@Gavinxd777 Same here man! I have the Oldtown 106 MK kayak and love it but Im not gonna lie a boat is best!
Can you even plain? Or is that it?
Yea its does sometimes. Goes around 10mph with max weight Not the fastest but better then nothing. Im planning on getting a 20hp Merc on it!
Well if you are not going out on big water you dont need much.
You did a great job fixing it up. The red looks good
@@shurppa64 I hear yea! The 6hp has been great! Moves for what is it and runs great! But a little extra would be nice haha
@@shurppa64 Means a lot man! It was so much fun building and fishing has been a blast! And yea I love the red too, she pops!
