Saldate vs Hanes was the best match of the year so far!!!
Mitchell M is an absolute animal!!! 165 is incredible! By far my favorite weight! Keegan, Carr, Mitchell, Olejnik, Ramirez, Hamiti, Amine, etc., etc., etc. Honestly im unsure who will win! After Michell's performance this weekend I could see him winning it all!
125 Explanation: When the cat's (Spencer) away, the mice will play.
I definitely think that mitchell mesenbrink is improving and on the hunt like this because he has Carter Starocci in the mat room as a practice partner. Excited to see how far he goes.

I'm with you on Feldman and I root for him every time. You can tell how much potential he has just watching how athletic and fast he is compared to the other guys. I also root for Bouzakis because he's a Tampa dude, and we need wrestlers to rep our hometown since FL colleges have no D1 wrestling teams!

I’m thinking PSU vs Iowa that Cael moves Barraclough to 174 and Starocci to 184 to wrestle Gabe….its clear to me that Iowa is trying to not wrestle Gabe against Carter.
PSU next year Kasak at 141, Van Ness at 149, Carter back for number 5, Facundo at 184, Josh Barr potentially at 197 or Mirasola, and Kerk back at HWT.

Levi might need bonnie time as well, you might be right about Griffith but he's kinda like a peyton robb as well, a guy you can't help but root for. Another thing thats important to consider soon is how little Rock is growing.

Spot on about some of those lousy BIG+ announcers. On the other hand, Malik Amine calling Michigan matches is great.
I think your analysis of the Fish 5-point move against Mitchell is incorrect. In rewatching the sequence, Fish shoots in and the official immediately awards Fish a 3-pont takedown (I think it was Merkle). So, the fact that Fish's back was then exposed did not matter. Fish then adds 2 more points when Messenbrink's back is exposed.
Why did Starocci travel with the team if he had the flu ?
Levis signature high c single leg isn't there anymore. He seems to lack confidence in his offense. He has no knee brace so I think it's probably a mental issue

I watch you yahoos every week. Best commentating in wrestling right now. Some of the bigger outlets are a bit more reserved in their opinions, while you guys address the elephant in the wrestling room. Regarding 125 - its very simple. When you say somebody is "ranked", you have to define what you mean. You can rank somebody based on what they've done, or you can rank them based on what you think they're going to do. These OFTEN but not always line up. Starocci? What he's done looks like what he's going to do - walk through everybody. Braeden Davis? What he's done, which is not lose, puts him at #1. What we think he's going to do is probably not beat the very top guys. He might, I hope he does, but I'm going to bet that Ramos, Ayala, and the rest at the very top will beat him. So on that list, he would not be #1.
Breaking BEG news! Wayne now refers to himself as Nostradamus (of wrestling) and will be referred to as such when spoken to by others in the wrestling community.
I watched a PSU dual a few weeks back. A female announcer was talking about how Staroccis opponent deserved credit for defying the odds & scoring on Starocci. All the guys' points were escapes...Starocci was taking him down & cutting him for a tech fall. I was disgusted.

I hope, and I’m sure the Iowa women good there is a team out there within the next few years who can at least compete with them. As of right now, I think this is actually bad for women’s wrestling. There is ZERO competition.
If nobody ever got slapped over a corn hole match I guarantee you a Ferrari will make it happen
I didn't love that 14 second stall call on Lewan either Wayne. Now I could be accused of hypocrisy since I didn't hate the one with 4 seconds left to get Voinovich into SV in a match (that was Angel also). The difference? the Voinovich one tied it the Lewan Levi one basically won the match; just don't love a match being decided that way unless it's egregious. Terry.
Lewan didn’t shoot the entire match. It should have been called a few times. Haines was shooting throyghout

After PSU v MARYLAND today, For ANYONE still wondering if Levi is OFF in some way….plz STOP….For those of you that thought Carter was hurt again, plz STOP….The biggest takeaway from the Maryland match ISNT their studs, it’s the fact that PSU can put their 3rd string 149 pounder out against the number 15 kid in the country, and he gives this kid a huge battle. And although he loses by 5, Marylands kid could barely walk off the mat at the end. 42 to 6 and it wasn’t even THAT CLOSE. PSU sent Kasak and Evans to a tourney at LHU to test the waters.

As far as stalling goes...if it's increasing it isn't the rules committe or new rules causing it. It's refs causing it. Let's make Angel Rivera head referee & task him with schooling his fellow refs as to how to AGGRESSIVELY call stall calls
