Brilliant Vocal Analysis. Understanding and explaining every nuance. Yes- most people are left gobsmacked, stunned, breathless and speechless. The brain goes; '..er.. WHAT!?!? "
Some reactors who simply can't understand what he is doing or how, just mumble { after they regain their speech } " He's an ALIEN!" No he's NOT! BUT...
    # Fun fact:
You might be right about people transported by sound alone to 'Planet Dimash'.
What am I talking about? There actually IS a 'Planet Dimash'. Or actually; a Star.
When the Producers of the 2017 Chinese Show; "Singer" did NOT give Dimash the top spot - but 'Runner Up' ( with the weak excuse that a) he wasn't a Chinese Citizen, & b) they'd only invited him on as a friendly nod to their Kazakh neighburs - but 'hadn't expected him to get anywhere' !!!) millions of Chinese fans went absolutely ballistic. Almost caused an 'international incident'. 😆🤣 The respective Governments rushed to create a new role / Title just for him: "Honarary Kazakh / China Cultural Ambassador". This did not satisfy many and so when, not long after, there was an Astronomy [ 'Name A Star Live' ] Competition calling for the public to nominate names for the next newly discovered Star, hordes of Dimash 'Dears' flocked to the site to vote for their 'Dimashi'. So now there is a real DQ Star swinging about somewhere in the Andromeda Galaxy. 🤣

I shut the front door, so Hi Sally! You are The Best at what you do for sure----101 %/A+++! I have watched a few hundred reactions in the last 2 months since i first heard Dimash, and some reactors just don't have it, and some are fine, and some great, but you are over and above, Special! Thank you so much! Dimash is the Best singer on the planet for sure. John

Greetings my friend Bianca!!... Thank you for follow my suggestion the other day and finally react to Dimash, the best male singer of the world (In my personal opinion)...Now I want to invite you to meet HIS IDOL , who is considered one of the Vocal Trinity and Best Female Singers of the World (The best in my personal opinion)...The passion and dedication when Dimash is performing a song can only be compared with the person who has influenced him to sing leaving everything on stage: His idol, the queen, the incomparable, the Goddess: Lara Fabian.....Lara is the best female singer and performer of the world...She is a lyric soprano with a amazing vocal range and incredible breath control...She speaks and composes in 5 languages and sings in more than 15 languages....That's why she is the inspiration for Dimash and several singers around the world...You can see covers of her songs on UA-cam made by singers of the stature of: Dimash, Diana Ankudinova, Polina Gagarina, Forestella, Julie Anne San Jose, Sissel Kyrkjebo, Floor Jansen, Diana Navarro, Giulia Falcone, Morissette Amon, Gabriel Henrique, Rimar, Katrina Velarde, Cakra Khan and others...Please react to her songs, all masterpieces, in LIVE versions, because Lara is more impressive when she sings live, so you can see why she is the idol of Dimash...Try to do it in this order and almost all songs are from the same Lara’s concert “From Lara With Love” in Montreal 1999, one of her best works: 1) Je Suis Malade (Singing in French)...2) Caruso (Singing in Italian)...3) Je T'AIME (2002 Live version in Paris Singing in French)...4) Perdere L'Amore (1999 Live version Singing in Italian)...5) Adagio (1999 Live version singing in english)...6) Broken Vow (1999 Live version singing in English)...7) You are Not From Here (1999 Live version singing in English)...8) Quédate (1999 Live version singing in Spanish)....9) Ti Amo Cosi (2019 Live version Singing a trío with Dimash and Aida Garifullina)....I hope to see you first reaction soon and if you don't mind, I'd like you to mention me as the person who recommended reacting to Lara...Here you have the link of her amazing performance of the song “Je Suis Malade”....ua-cam.com/video/eHSyk4SGtuY/v-deo.html

Seeing/hearing him live actually had me floating around on a pink cloud for months. It's just an experience beyond words. But what strikes me the most, time after time, is his humble, respectful, down to earth nature and attitude, the high moral values that he lives by..that is even more impressive. He is wise far beyond his years and is a role model both in the music world and outside the world of music.

Attending his London 2018 concert touched my soul and filled my heart with joy. Dimash started Autum Strong vocalised.. Those seconds of emotive love were priceless.. I get to relive that performance thanks to a Dears UA-cam video.. Have you listened to his speech at the Asian Peace Conference?? Made me so happy.. I love his mother, who I saw throughout the O2 concert.. She radiates the same frequency of pure love that Dimash shares with us. We are blessed in every way possible..

    Dimash Q- Sinful Passion
    You appeared suddenly
As if from a moonlit dream,
Oh, if only you knew that I need you alone
    The rain keeps pouring down
There were in fact some sleepless nights
You alone manage to light my heart up like spring
    Give me,
    Give me,
A slow burning fire in this misty weather
    Give me,
    Give me,
A burning flame made up of sinful passion, day and night
    Eyelashes down cast at night
Only to be surrounded by silence
Forgotten sounds, hands, faces but I only need you
    Bewitched by you
I will devour this potion until the last remaining drop
The only one who is capable of possibly bringing me back is you darling, back to return to the world from the abyss
    Give me,
    Give me,
A slow burning fire in this misty weather
    Give me,
    Give me,
A burning flame of sinful passion that'll last day and night
    Give me,

Dimash is the best singer in the WORLD and there are no doubts about that, his voice is a prodigy of nature and a genetic marvel since his parents are two glories of singing from Kazakhstan since he was 5 years old, he sings publicly and has more than twenty years of lyrical training and graduated from the university of music, he is a singer, composer, arranger and multi instrumentalist, he plays more than seven musical instruments and sings in more than Fourteen(14) languages, he is also a great performer and a great artist who lives and feels music He is not an imitator of voices , Dimash has his own style and is one of the forerunners of the "POPera" he also has a very pleasant, HUMBLE and simple personality, easy access, which makes it very easy to follow, he always travels with His family and friends is a very educated person and an example to follow, he has become known for his musical talent not for getting into trouble or scandals, It has a very wide vocal range of approximately 7 octaves ,he is a singer with a wide vocal range very versatile is Baritone, TENOR , Soprano, counter TENOR, mezasoprano, everything at the same time is how to have 5 singers in one, it has a male and female voice, also many resources such as vibrato, "melismas", falsetto, Staccato, whistle tone, reaching a( D8 )live "Outside of Piano"at the concert of Gakku in an unforgettable day, at his young age he continues to improve and grow musically to perfection, he has a good physical presence he measures 191 cm or 6 "3", he is very famous and recognized in Asia and now he is becoming known In Europe and America, ALL their songs are spectacular, it always goes from low to high, soft to spectacular at the end, in my almost half a century of life I never heard so much quality and it is the hope of continuity of the classical genre because all the old tenors have already Almost all of them died and Dimash can sing like them but none of them can sing like Dimash, being a Man he sings better than any Tenor and his female voice is superior to that of any average Soprano, greetings and a hug from USA 🇺🇸 "Dears" Forever ❤️ Sorry for copying and pasting my informative comment in ALL the Video reactions to Dimash what I see but I do it with the intention of sharing information about him and what I think that in the music industry there are many artists who have been successful and have no talent and are bad people and they do not set a good example for the youth, Dimash and his music deserve to triumph in America, Europe and the whole WORLD, do you want to have already read my comment please come by without problem there is always someone who for the first time knows this information and I won't get tired of sharing it with all my friends"Dear" around the world, thanks for reading and for supporting Dimash 🙏🏻S.O.S. Thank you so much for your wonderful reaction. He is really one of a kind. Immediately liked and subscribed.
Please react next to Olimpico from his Arnau concert. In this song he sings in Italian. You can find it on Igor Krutoy‘s Channel. He is a famous Russian/Ukrainian composer, producer and songwriter. He has come out of retirement to work with Dimash. You’ll often see him accompanying Dimash on the piano. The two have no contract. Their cooperation is based more on mutual trust. It’s more like a father/son relationship. Olimpico is another masterpiece that Igor Krutoy wrote especially for Dimash’s vocal skills. This song and this performance is my absolute favourite🥰. I think this version is the best, because his performance is so intense and breathtaking. The light show, the background dancers. Everything. With this song in this version I have gasping breath all the time. The way he represents himself on stage, the hand movements. I think he has incredibly beautiful hands🤭(and apparently many cameramen think so too, since many of the camera shots during his performances very often only show his hands. Sometimes it seems as if he is conducting himself. This is really fascinating). And the facial expression, the look. There he looks so demanding and so bossy😱 (I hope it‘s the right word-English is not my native language). There he is such a Beast😳! It’s absolutely stunning. Gasping and racing heart and I’m not even talking about him singing. Oh wow I’m starting to rave again…🤤 Sorry but I can’t help it🥺. I swear it is mind-blowing 🤯

Or the other two masterpieces that Igor Krutoy wrote specifically for Dimash's abilities.
    Stranger: ua-cam.com/video/lFsB5HVnmSA/v-deo.html
Here you can hear a large of fhis vocal range, as well as an incredibly awesome Kazakh instrument. The Kobyz. The man who often is playing the Kobyz in Dimash’s performance is the best on this instrument and a good friend of Dimash. His name is Olzhas Qurmanbek.

My family just don't get it at all & try to belittle me for being such a huge fan of him. I just don't get that they can't hear the amazing vocals he is able to perform perfectly. I think my family doesnt want to properly listen to him because they want to go on with their life as it is, they want to keep the mindset they have and that wouldn t be possible if they would properly listen. I respect that. its understandable because its difficult to change.

Bravo! Bravo! Bravissimo to your reaction. First of all you picked the best version of that song, exactly, as you mentioned, for that emphasis on the wonderful, delicate, most emotional piano track in that one. I experienced Dimash live on stage and I assure you, he really takes you to another galaxy with his unbelievable, masterful, most emotional, trained to the max vocals. I knew what Dimash is able to before I saw him live but to experience him in presence is a completely different matter. I did not HEAR his vocals, for the first time in my live I EXPERIENCED music with ALL my senses. I was not aware that I my body would ever react to music like that. Eargasm, no, deargasm. Sorry, but that is the only word to describe that state of mind. You are right, nothing should prevent you from going to a concert of Dimash. But be aware that for a person with a good taste and proper appreciation of good vocals this will be life changing for sure. I really enjoyed your reaction. Thank you so much. Can’t wait for another one. Greetings from Germany

As I understand it, that throat singing is a traditional Khazakh thing done for funerals and mourning. The first time he did it, it was at a tribute for the first singer to do this song, who had recently died.
Also, apparently Dimash does not need to breathe. That whole last riff was on one breath. Yeesh.
The first time he did this song, at the tribute, the first person to stand and applaud was master composer Igor Krutoy, who then came out of semi-retirement to work with him. They’ve collaborated on at least a dozen brilliant songs, like Ogni Pietra, Stranger, Ave Maria, etc.
Glad you’ve joined the Dears! Obviously, you can come back to Dimash anytime.
I’d also love to see you react to Voiceplay-maybe check out In The Hall Of The Mountain King, just for fun!!

I came to listen to some Dimash but I've been instantly hooked by your presence. Such a fluent combination of knowledgeable analysis and performance insight, your quick mind and heart, little snippets of your own singing to pinpoint the parts you speak about, and such super expressive and precise communication in the moment -- big eyes, eye fluttering, that "Shut the door" speechlessness that so perfectly mirrored Dimash's own orgasmic artistic climax. Dimash and you made a great pairing!
I won't talk about Dimash further other than to make it clear I'm subscribed and notified in the hope I hear lots of Dimash analyses by you next year. (Hmm. A thought suddenly arises. If I'm really lucky, perhaps you'll upload one around the time of my birthday. I was born January 1st, 1960...)
As I write this I've only seen two of your reactions. I'll go look for more in a mo, but I did just check to see if you've reacted to one other artist I've really gotten into as a result of getting into Dimash, namely Diana Ankudinova. As far as I can tell you haven't yet reacted to her. So I'm going to use the rest of this comment to introduce her, focusing on why I think she's interesting not merely as a singer but as a person, an artist, an innocent involuntary shaman, whose nature leads to unique vocal qualities that have to be heard to be believed.
She's not got what Dimash has -- for starters she's only 19 -- but vocal analysts love discovering her and I'd love to hear your reaction to some of her stand out songs/performances. I'd say she has a dozen or so of those, with about a half dozen especially lending themselves to reactions by vocal analysts. I'll mention 3 of them below. These 3 comprise what I think of as a series touching on a common thread, with each song documenting another step in her life/spirit/artist journey related to dark and light, fear and love, complexity and simplicity. They are:
    * Wicked Game. Chris Isaak's haunting song, but transformed to something else entirely in her performance of it, at age 15 (or perhaps 14) in the Russian children's singing competition You Are Super. Aiui she helped arrange and abridge the song to express something completely unlike the vibe of Isaak's original. I explain what I think led her to that moment, to that piece of art, that performance, below.
    * Can't Help Falling In Love. The song made famous by Elvis Presley in a scene in a movie. It's worth watching that scene to understand part of what I think Diana is expressing. Diana's 2 minute or so performance of this, last year, at age 18, was in another singing competition, this time 9 singers competing with each other as judges. I'm confident she was the one who chose the key in which she sings it and the overall arrangement. As her voice builds, including recorded vocals to back her singing the main voice live, she ultimately brings new meaning to "blown away". After she's sung it, one of the other singers/judges speaks of the devil, and she's right!
    * Revelation. This time it's just her. She was composer, lyricist, arranger, screenplay writer, wardrobe and make up director, singer, instrumentalist, and more, in her first self created music video. She was 18 when she wrote the song, just turned 19 when she released the video.
The life / art / spiritual background of these three songs/performances are intense. Her early life story is the polar opposite of Dimash's, who was (still is) the much loved eldest son of two professional singers. This cold polar background is the ground of these songs. What follows is my summary for you.
When she was 3 years old she was found abandoned at a bus stop during the winter. See her Wikipedia page for details; here I'll sketch the basics. At the orphanage that she was taken to, a therapist suggested she be encouraged to sing to see if it helped her heal. (When she was found she had a broken collarbone and was non-verbal.) She absolutely loved singing and it became transformative.
Fast forward a decade and she suddenly rose to national prominence due to a performance in a singing competition for children when she was 13. The format was such that the judges faced away from competitors and only turned to face them if they wished to vote for them. All four judges rejected her, clearly confused about what the heck they were hearing. Then they turned to face her, asked her to sing something else, and she trotted out exactly the right few lines of an Edith Piaf song. They were floored, arguing among themselves about why they had all got her so wrong. While all this is going on Diana is all smiles. As the camera follows her walk the walk of the rejected down the rejection tunnel she is such a lovely spirit (reminds me of you in fact!) that anyone watching can't help but fall in love, just as we do Dimash. The video of all of this became an overnight sensation. The download count for her rejected performance surpassed the totals for all the other videos for all years ever of all performances, rejected and accepted, in that singing competition, all combined together!
So then what happens? The mother who had abandoned her crawls out of the woodwork and wants to reassert herself as Diana's mother! At this point Diana has been in a loving adoptive family for nearly a decade. She is terrified of her biological mother. She is so stressed out by this that vitiligo (skin coloring disorder) kicks in. She tells those around her that she wants to withdraw from public exposure, to relinquish her dream, her joy, of singing, of performing. To make a long story short, she is rescued from this nightmare by the love of others around her (not her biological mother!) and her own bravery and determination. She picks and performs her unique version of Wicked Game and the rest is history.
Hmm. To be honest I think I don't have the timing right about some elements here, so take it all with a pinch of salt. (If you do end up doing a reaction, ask viewers about this back story aspect and see what they say. I know I've got most of it right but I only discovered her a few months ago.) Perhaps it was Rechenka, which she picked and performed at the same competition, but a year earlier when she was 14, that she chose when her biological mother contacted her. I'm not sure but now I've written this I'm sticking with it!
Anyhoo, during this pivotal stage, Igor Krutoy becomes her patron, and, among other things, pays for her to go to a music academy. (If you don't yet know Igor Krutoy you will. He's hugely important in Dimash's career too, and you'll see him playing piano with Dimash.)
Diana then goes from strength to strength, and increasingly recognizes her adoptive maternal grandmother as the most important person in her world. When she's 18, she picks Can't Help Falling In Love to express this new sense of powerful love in her life.
Around the same time, she spontaneously writes a song, her first. Suddenly life is starting to be less relentlessly dark, and she can put the singing competitions, and performing as a way of life, in perspective. And then a reversal -- she loses confidence, and sits on the song for nearly a year. But her grandmother coaxes her into believing in herself. A few months ago she released a "Mood Video" for Revelation, and the triptych was complete. (You can find stuff out about the song, and her grandmother's role in her life, if you dig around, most notably a FAQ video Diana did about Revelation.)
At least, that's how I fancy it all to be!
Regardless of whether I'm off my rocker about her artistic intent, they are all great pieces and I would love to watch you react to them.

I don’t know what you will say when you hear what he sounds like today!
Three suggestions are: Ave Maria (New Wave 2021), Stranger (New Wave 2021) and Dimash’s latest masterpiece music video, The Story of One Sky (2022) Dimash’s own composition (he also wrote the screenplay and acted in it too!), that he’s been working on for 3 years. The MV cost over $7,000,000 The most expensive MV ever produced and Dimash paid for it himself. It is absolutely incredible at 13 minutes and 40 seconds long. There are also fancams of the live performance the day before the MV release, please react to that as well, although the official video of that live performance, should be out soon. If you watch the MV and wonder how on earth he could possibly sing it live, wonder no more, he absolutely can, and in the middle of a solo concert!

It reminds me of an architectural article from years ago. There was a Victorian Queen Anne mansion that was so fantastically elaborate and technically complex that it had been nicknamed "plus rien ne peut être", no more can be, because they believed it was impossible to add anything more to it. Dimash's voice is like that house...you don't imagine it's possible that one more embellishment or obscure technique could be added to it. But, each time you hear him, he will in fact have added something new. He's magic!

Learned so much from your analysis of the way Dimash sings. One of the few that actually says more than WOW. Not only does Dimash have talent, vocal skills, artistry and mastery but his full expression of emotion thru music is astounding and moving. He seems to sense where the music and the emotion can and should go and his voice takes us into the experuence. as he and the music are one. It seems to me that he himself has felt the climax and the descent of passion. It is more than singing. He us so honest, vulnerable and completely free in his expression. Trulyy awesome.
