Brah, good covers for sure and I bet it was hard to compile! With art being subjective, one size doesn’t fit all. For instance, I actually prefer Batman 227 over Tec 31. Perhaps it is just Neal Adam’s rendering?? For me personally I couldn’t do a covers list without Spawn. Spawn 88, 119, and many others are just so dope
I know there are other comic covers that you could have included in your list, but I think Batman #251 with that classic Neal Adam's cover was a glaring omission. I do agree with most of the covers you mention with the exception of Chamber of Chills #19.
I'm guessing you probably expected the, where's Neal Adams comment? Well not to disappoint, where's Neal Adams? My pick for him would be Batman 227, Green Lantern 76, or Superman 233. Great video bro.
Good choices. The composition of what makes a great cover is definitely, in some ways, subjective. However, I think you picked some that are universally loved. SS 4 and ASM 39 are definitely two of my favorites as well. Thanks for sharing
This had to be one of the most difficult videos to make. There are so many great covers that were left off the book list yet you managed to show some really top-notch ones. I mean let’s face it action #1 was not on here. Or marvel comics #1,Fantastic4 #49. Not to mention giant size X-Men. #One.SoTrulyIconicCoversInTheirOwnRight.
I feel like if you didn't know the significance of any of these covers (like if they are 1st appearances), they wouldn't be included on this list. The exceptions on your list would be the Hulk 342 and ASM 300 and SS4, which people ignorant of comics probably would still be impressed with. They also don't really have major comic line significance other than their art.
I enjoyed your list. I do disagree with some of the picks but much like you said, with over a hundred years of covers, picking 10 is very difficult. That being said I have to contemplate a list of my own.
I am guessing you also expected the, where is Alex Schomburg comment, so as to not disappoint again, where is Alex Schomburg??? My picks for him would be Startling Comics 49, Mystic Comics 6, or USA Comics 6.
Remember this is an opinion video and I wish I could have had a lot more books but it would have just been too long of a video and too hard.
SS 4 for sure.
I recently discovered more late great Neal Adams brilliance with Witching Hour 13 - that cover now ranks among my all time faves.

Yes it’s definitely to each is own !

Great video bro.
lol. I almost added 227 but since I went with tech 31 I didn’t do it. 251 was close. Def top 15 for me
Beautiful Covers. Thanks for sharing
Great one. Also FF 49
Love me some Batman 251 and X-Men 50. SS4 for sure! 😍
Great selections, Laurence! Might add a Schomburg book in there too 🙂
Let’s throw in Suspense 3 with Fantastic comics #3 Samson cover one of my all time fav mixes with action comics #1 👌

the classic Jock Detective 880 is probably too new for these lists, but deserves a spot IMO. Definetly on a list of the best modern covers.
GOOD SHOW LOVE THE SILVER SURFER THOR COVER
My favorite comic cover is the new mutants #98.😀👍
Tec 31 is ugly imo lol. But the rest for sure. Iconic covers.

100%.
And no Steranko. Smh.
There's a ton of great Steranko covers but my favorite is Nick Fury #6.
Great video!!
I have 5 of your 10 including Hulk #1 which I used to dislike but have grown to like a lot. How about doing a list of your bottom 10 comic covers?
Good idea

Great list
Awesome video buddy!
THank u
Not a bad list at all with a tough task.
Not sure what I would replace on your 10 but one of my modern favorites is the Killing Joke cover
Oh man, why no Neal Adams on the list?!
I almost put 227 and 251 but went with tech 31. If this was a top 15 they would be on it.
I enjoyed your list. I do disagree with some of the picks but much like you said, with over a hundred years of covers, picking 10 is very difficult. That being said I have to contemplate a list of my own.
Yes. Every cover touches someone in a different way
I’m assuming this is just super hero covers…otherwise, Suspense Comics 3 would have to be in there.
Well I have 1 precode make the list
Some of these are on the VeVe app !
LOLOL John Romita didn't color the cover
What are u referring to? Never said he colored cover. Said he penciled the cover. ASM 39 and 50.
But I also said I enjoy color palate on his books. 🤷🏻♂️
❤
