Tips for picking a nice and ripe avocado: gently press the pointy tip and if the texture feels like the tip of your nose, it’s ripe enough! Also, long avocados tend to have a smaller stone than round ones :)

Hi Leila, I just found your channel and your journey is so inspiring! I’m currently in recovery from my own eating disorder journey and I am also trying to heal my HA. Your content is so encouraging to me and I’m so thankful for what you are currently promoting, that is, a peaceful unrestricted relationship with life and food❤
Just a quick question…what did I your training look like when you were trying to get your period back? I want to feel strong again and build some muscle but I’m also wanting to be super gentle with my body…
    Much love from Aus😊

Hi. I'm looking for meals with average protein but high fiber. My understanding is that, scientifically, protein ages you faster, and that the only meals that lack protein are also calorically deficient. So for someone to lack protein they also have to be starving. What people really lack is fiber, and fiber is the buzzword that should be thrown around to get views. So, am I in the right place for average protein but high fiber food? Is this the channel for me to get science backed nutrition information and recipes that are ethical and nutritious? Without all the junk that other people put into their own channels❓

Just add a small salad to every savoury meal and have fruit with your breakfast. If that still doesn’t cut it, try psyllium husk.

@CarolineSophie93 I was hoping for something a little more delicious or appealing then a salad, fruit, or psyllium husk. Why not just say have a smoothie with oatmeal for breakfast everyday?
This is why people think vegan food is boring and bland. I was told it was getting creative and delicious.

I've been upping my fiber by eating the Kelloggs all bran buds and I will add half a banana with almond milk and cinnamon. If i am super hungry i will add plain cheerios. This also doubles as my pre workout since it is very carb dense and gives me lots of energy. It is about 18G of fiber so I don't have to worry about fiber the rest of the day. My post workout is usually a berry Kale protein smoothie so this keeps me aligned with my macros everyday. My protein is usually 110-130G/day. Good luck! I highly recommend fiber cereals with lower added sugar
