Even though it's easy to determine a fake guru after a while, they've gotten quite sophisticated in how they handle the bad press eg Warrior Trading, Ross Cameron. Fined $3 million in 2022 but yet still sell his services, albeit more carefully. Other furus like Sykes have evolved over the years to piggyback on the success of their students eg Grittani, Kellogg, Dux. Some will question the success of his students which just shows the difficulty of verification.
Ross isn't a fake though, he got fined because he was used as an example, his broker statements that he shares are very real, and no he doesn't front run... If he was they would have gotten him for that as well. Idk about the other people you mentioned, but I know for sure Ross is actually a really good equities trader.
@@Siegefya lmfao. yeah right "used him as a example" cuz he makes too much money. LOL. Fact about the matter is that all he had to do was show REAL VERIFIED results and law enforcement would have backed off. The fact that he couldn't and decided to pay $3 million (!!!) is all that needs to be said.
Ross trades real money, but everyone has their opinion about whether he front runs or not. People start buying when he mentions what he's looking at, then he jumps in with the volume created by the room. It's legal but unethical because he probably wouldn't have bought it if the liquidity from the room wasn't there
@@potodds_trading he did and has shown real verified results for years, that's not what the lawsuit and fine where about. Actually read what he got fined for, it's not what you think. And if you actually read the documentation they found that he himself, in his personal accounts, is a profitable trader. Again, dude got fined because the way he worded his warrior trading advertisements. Pretty much he made promises that he couldn't 100% keep, and the traders who weren't able to make money with what he was teaching, complained, that allowed the FTC to open up an investigation, and yeah, those traders, there is traders who have learned from Ross and became better for it. If you run a course, or a chat room or whatever, you can't make promises like that to people. Notice how he changed that aspect up for how he advertises his warrior trading group? They definitely made an example out of him.
@@potodds_trading You don't know anything about the case, and it reflects poorly on you that you couldn't even be bothered to actually do the 15 minutes of research into the specifics of the legal complaint. Ross Cameron's trading record wasn't on trial, but what he was sued for was that he was advertising his service advertising "guaranteed results," which was an open and shut case of false advertising since most daytraders lose money. You cannot therefore give guarantees.
That said, the kind of small cap scalping method that he teaches isn't really scalable due to the lack of liquidity in these stocks. It is hard to move a lot of money in and out of such stocks, and copying these trades is futile because even a 30 second lag might completely mess up the trade. Tim Sykes actually tried to run his own fund based on his penny stock strategies, and he later admitted it just wasn't scalable. Thus the move into teaching.

Maybe not! Sometimes the fake guru open our eyes to different nuances in trading but we has trader need to weed out the BS within the content.

It took about 3 years (give or take), but the last year was a terrible year for me. This year is better but not the best in terms of progress.
I also think most people underestimate the learning curve or have really high expectations of how much they will make as a trader. For example, if you made 120K at a job, most people would be happy, but if you made 120K trading and you go on Twitter, you feel like a loser.

The real money is in promoting unregulated brokers. They will pay you a huge amount of money every month for just promoting them. Pay attention, every UA-camr that promotes Hankotrade are now driving super cars. All of them! That`s why they promote them so much in every video. They are paying some people like 20k a month. I'm not saying no names---- Your favorite female trader bought her a Lambo truck from that Hankotrade money. She been going on a UA-cam interview tour and having people put in the thumbnail that she makes 20k a day trading. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 She has zero proof that she did that. But the new traders will believe her because she drives a Lambo and then they will buy her course.
