Definately my favorite gundam of them all. Not the most powerful by a longshot, but my favorite. It, along with the GP02, and Rose gundam are my 3 favorites. Amuro truly showed who the greatest pilot of all time was at the helm of this machine. It would have been too much for normal pilots to handle since they wouldnt have used the funnels anywhere close to full effectiveness and it was rather slow comparatively. Only Amuro could use it to its full potential.
It's amazing what Amuro can do in an unfinished and unstable machine. The machine only took 2 hits after facing squads of Geara Doga, an Alpha Azieru, Jagd Doga and specially the Sazabi I also loved it's variants like the HWS and Double fin funnel type. I got mixed reviews on Hi-Nu considering it's not as untouchable as the Nu gundam in the movie. @18:37 Easier said than done. Quess was an exceptionally powerful newtype. She's also using a new mobile armor and even she couldn't penetrate to the shield with her psycommu weapons.
This Gundam is very awesome the movie was awesome as well I was upset armrou Ray and char died the end of the movie I wonder if armrou has a son or daughter ? Most likely the federation will bring him back as a clone with a upgrade Gundam .

Despite having "Standard 60mm Vulcans" they seemed to pack way more of a punch than most vulcans in the movies.

A shame we never got to see him use perfected funnels, without the disastrous bugs he had to deal with in his one and only sortie with them.

I think what they should do is remake chars counterattack as a 13 episode anime, flesh it out a bit more.
