What steps did you follow after she entered the US
We got her ssn card a week ago. Then last Friday we applied her State ID for now. Then maybe apply her US passport soon.

Hi! just bring the necessary documents only, since no electronic devices are allowed inside the embassy

I recently scheduled an appointment for non-immigrant Visa application. The confirmation says 2 applicants already. Does this mean that my Spouse is also scheduled with the same date and time as mine?
Thus, no need to for my Spouse to schedule again using her user account?
Hi po my tanung lang ako po ako about sa interview appointment. Kasi last November 2022 ng email ang embassy ng congratulations saying that the office is ready to begin the final processing of my daughter’s immigrant application, pero until now mg 5months na Wala pa kaming natanggap na email galing sa NVC or Embassy na notification pra sa interview appointment. Is it possible na mg pa appointment kami pra sa interview ng anak ko or wait parin namin ang notice galing sa NVC or Embassy bago mg pa appointment? Na expedite na din ung application nia pero it’s been 5months wala pa po. Sana masagot nio po ang katanungan ko. Thank you very much

Hello! Just wanted to ask how long did you wait to be scheduled for the visa interview after you were documentarily qualified? My son is already waiting for his visa interview and trying to find out wait times for IR2 interview schedules in the PH. I had mine filed in Riyadh Embassy and it took me 8 months to be scheduled. As a tourist visa? just the interview process, no medical exam needed.
hi Paul - congratulations & thank you for your blogs! Kindly assist me please in filling up the missing steps. If my case were already in Manila Embassy- A.) need to get a scheduled date for the interview. B.) need to wait for an endorsement letter from the embassy (maybe through email) that I will bring to St Luke. How many days do I need to have interval days between the medical and interview date? C.) need to set an appointment for medical, D.) need to register for LBC Visa Courier. Thanks in advance

Hi! upon scheduling your ID may option dun, or if not they'll ask you during the interview if na set up mo na. if not yet, they'll give you instructions.

Hi. yes, pero make sure you have attended the Pre-Departure Orientation Seminar (PDOS) with the Commission on Filipinos Overseas (CFO) and you have your certificate before yung departure date. Here's the link for more info: www.cfo.gov.ph/

I would like to ask what should I do if I still don't receive my interview letter? My case is already at Manila and I'm done with my medical last January, the stuff told me that if I still don't receive any letter I should retake my medical.
Is there any other way like I can ask for follow up with that or can I schedule my interview now?

Hi! It's not really advisable to do your medical without interview schedule due to situations like yours now. As long as you have you interview schedule, you can proceed and no need for the interview letter. You can schedule your interview as long as your case is in manila

Is it necessary to renew NBI Clearance and other documents like PSA, Cenomar ,Police Clearance ?
Hi! Yes, it has to be renewed. Also, don’t forget to bring the expired copy that you have previously submitted just in case.

Hi! Its a case to case basis. plus pandemic really slowed down the process that’s why it took so long
Did you upload your new cenomar, nbi and police clearance? or only the new NBI?
Hi! any updates on the original files you submitted has to be uploaded. bring it also during your interview.
Hi! Do we have to upload the latest copy of our NBI sa ceac before interview? Kase nung nag upload kami 2021 pa yun so since 1 year lang validity ng NBI, expired na siya this 2023. Hi! It case to case basis, there’s no definite time. once your case is already the manila embassy, you can use the cgi website to schedule your interview date. some just wait for their interview sched via email, I didn’t. expedite process naman po depends on your case

I received an email from the U.S. Embassy Philippines, "You may schedule your interview appointment online if you do not meet the following conditions, etc." but you said that you received a letter from NVC about the schedule of the interview. Hi! They meant you can use the CGI website po if wala ka pang narereceive na interview sched sa email. What I received was email na nasa manila na case ko, then if your case is nasa manila na. that’s the only time na you can use the CGI website to book your schedule. Otherwise, wait.

Hi! traditional way is you'll be given an interview sched (sent sa email). but if yung case mo nasa manila na (only if nasa manila na), you can use the CGI website and see available sched.

Mine was less than 2 months but more than 30 days. Nauna pa ang SSN ko.

Hi! approved documents yung original. For latest civil documents, may option sa lower part para magupload ng updated docs. really have to upload and bring it din during the interview

Hi! PD is 3/12/20. Almost 2 years waiting din due to pandemic. for the interview sched, I did it myself in CGI website once my papers are already at the manila embassy.

we have been waiting for a visa interview for almost a year now, (since june 2022) unfortunately all we received was endless 60 days of wait. HOW LONG DID YOU WAIT FOR THE INTERVIEW???

they should send u congratulatory letter from the Embassy then u can schedule urself thru the NVC website, embassy taking too long than usual due to covid and long wait list, got mine 2 years after petitioning.
If you have been waiting for long time na po you can actually apply for expidite po

How will you set up the LBC?
You can set it up while scheduling the interview on the website. another option is after the interview, they'll give you instructions if you have not done it yet
