Things I learned from this trailer. 1. Old Dex is still alive. 2. The actors for the younger version sound like their older version and are able to capture the mannerisms of the older ones really well. 3. Patrick Dempsey as the police captain is going to be fun to watch.

Hmm, didn't Harry off himself after Dexter's first victim because he realized he created a monster, but here he is all cheerful and encouraging of Dexter, hopefully it's Dexter's inner Harry.
If original sin will be the building to dexter resurrection, will it only be 1 season? Because if OS is good, i wouldn't mind more content. But how much more can they also include considering we knew a lot of Dexters history through flash backs.
While ambiguous to the audience, it was certainly the writers intent that Dexter was killed by his own son after being shot in the chest (which is why i said retcon) in there attempt to give the show a more concrete ending than the original series. That they are explicitly showing his survival is what I'm excited about. With Resurrection on the way, I was afraid they would make him the "dark passenger" of his son and keep him dead/not the main character
