What a nice video. I think you came off as very genuine and provided some great info. Thank you!
Delicious !!
Awesome video! Thanks for sharing. New subscriber here ✌
thank you very much. i'm trying to heal from alopecia areata auto-immune disease i hope this will help with making my hair grow
i love this, i cant wait to try!
Tried flavoring ours with grenadine syrup. Loved it and will probably never use anything else from now on!
Awesome color using the Turmeric…I’ll have to try some. I’m glad you mentioned in your Water Kefir videos you fermented as long as five days and the second fermentation up to 3 days. Most videos I watched say 24 to 48 hours and the second 12 to 24 hours. I found mine was too sweet and flat with those times but thought I shouldn’t let it sit any longer. I was thinking I was doing something wrong or the grains weren’t good. I’ll let my next batch ferment longer. Thanks.
No headspace in the bottles for gas?
Hi Tim! Good ques! It's important/helpful to "burp" the bottles daily - so this will allow the gas to dissipate. =)
Is that alright to use metal?
The Florida Sun Keifer directions say to leave 1” of liquid with grains for next brewing. I also notice you didn’t use the molasses it suggests for the first brewing. I realize reading the four recipe cards that came with your grains is fairly difficult and confusing. I was hoping for some suggestions of different flavors. Shouldn’t use aluminum or over fill the bottles. Good luck!
I’m wondering if that (using a metal strainer) is why my kefir is not carbonating during second ferment. I’ll look for a bamboo strainer.
How long does the fermented kefir last in the fridge?
As long as you want....as long as it's kept in a sealed bottle and in the frig, it really can't go bad.
But, you just made one flavor. With apple juice!
Great video except the music is way too loud , and your mike is set tool low .
Much appreciated feedback Linda and noted! :-D I'll def incorporate your commentary when filming and editing next round yay.
How did this not explode since you didn’t leave room in the bottles? I thought you’re not supposed to use metal (strainer)? … and you don’t use organic apple juice? I’m confused 🤔
Stainless steel is good to use
I was gonna say the same thing. Metal ruined the microbes.
Irritating music. How much is a "little bit" exactly?
