HOW THE SHEPHERDS RECOGNIZED THE CHRIST CHILD - SWADDLING CLOTHS IN A MANGER

In this webcast, broadcast LIVE on Christmas night 2022, Mark Gorman shares some favorite Christmas videos, including an excerpt from "The Shepherd", the pilot episode for "The Chosen". Afterward, Mark shares a brief message, providing proof that the shepherds who the angels appeared to in Luke 2 were tending the Temple sheep, which provided sacrificial lambs for the Jewish Temple. Jesus was swaddled in cloths which were provided by the High Priest of the Temple, for swaddling the sacrificial lambs when they were born. This is why the angels said, "This shall be a sign unto you..." When the shepherds saw Jesus lying in a manger, wrapped in these swaddling cloths, they knew immediately that He is the Christ, the Messiah, God's Lamb, to be offered for the sins of mankind, to redeem us all.
