IAB SA Youth Action Council Townhall: Mental health and the challenges faced by black youth.

IAB SA Youth Action Council hosted a live session to discuss the pressing issues faced by black youth working in the media and marketing industry.
Annually, the Council addresses significant issues that impact youth working or entering the industry. This year the townhall discussion focused on mental health awareness and the challenges faced by young black South Africans working in digital media and marketing.
The panellists for the discussion are not only experts in their field but also part of the youth cohort in the sector. Joining live for the session are:
• Sibonginkosi Zuma, Head of People Operations at VMLY&R,
• Mona-Lisa Toleni, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Manager at 2U, and
• Mbuso Shumba, Strategist at VMLY&R.
Speaking with our youth leaders Tavonga Musingarabwi, Group Brand Strategist at AbInBev was the keynote speaker for this year's Youth Action Townhall.The session was hosted by Luzuko Tena, Social Media Director at EssenceMediacom South Africa.
