It is her song, written at age 14, after her maternal grandfather died. In Oslo he often took her with him into town, where he helped the homeless community. A japanese gentlemen, in a nordic town, helping together with little Angelina, brought him much respect from the community. The streets of Oslo saw her growing up. Shortly before his death, he told Angelina: "stay true to yourself, and you will never regret what you do. I´ll be on the moon, see everything you do. YOU WILL NEVER BE ALONE." Today, Miss Angelina was seen, by chance, helping the homeless community in LA. She does that very discreetly, so no one could blame her doing it for PR reasons. You, dear sir, be safe and sound. Elmar from Germany
Wow! Thank you for this additional background information, much of which I have never heard before. Interesting that she incorporated his very words into her song! Greetings from America!
She talked about the lyrics, mentioned above, in an interview(s) about the song. I can’t remember now where I saw it. This song is very personal to her as are all her originals.
There are 3 artists in our house that can do a song in ONE take, Sam Smith, Beyonce and Angelina Jordan. Told in an interview, one of the top producers (StarGate) of Republic Records.
Her little cousin Athena is a bit older now and I was blown away by how stunningly beautiful she has further evolved. Definitely on a level of looks like Shirley Temple and that little girl was 'totally' America's sweetheart.
Our wonderful Angelina was born with super perfect pitch. I have watched interviews with her when she does an impromptu song sample, and according to my piano app she is spot on every time. She also stated that she never gets nervous on stage. Which does not surprise me because she knows exactly where she is going at all times. A very unique young artist!!
Yes Million Miles is Angelina’s original song, not her first original but Angelina’s first original after signing with Republic Records at 14 years old, Angelina wrote this heartfelt song as a tribute to her Grandfather who passed away, and dedicated the song to anyone who has ever lost a loved one, the song became relevant during the Pandemic, shout out to the pianist two times Grammy Award winner Rob Christie the Musical Director of Republic Records, Rob is featured in many of Angelina’s studio performances,Republic Records really appreciate Angelina’s phenomenal talent so much they gave Angelina her own studio, great reaction thanks 🙏
Million Miles is very special to me ❤️ Remember this came out in the pandemic times where many grandparents passed away ❤️ A beautiful song about losing a loved one ❤️
Oh I wish a longer version of Fragile! She sung it so stunning beautiful! So right in time! The Millions mile is her original! She’s absolutely amazing! A storyteller with that soulful voice. Thank you 🙏👌💎💫❤️
Thanks for the beautiful reaction. This girl is truly the essence of musical poetry, her voice is simply mesmerizing to the soul, I have never loved a singer so much. Angelina ... this unique girl and her amazing family around her, they are truly a wonderful reality. This is a very sweet, deep and very intense original song, dedicated with infinite love to the missing grandfather and to all the people who have lost someone, but it's also a song full of hope, with beautiful lyrics. Angelina is never what you expect, she is always beyond, she is outside the standard, however high those can be.💛🧡❤
That’s Angelina’s little cousin Athena. Two of God’s angels. Seeing the immense love Angelina and Athena have for each other is what life should be like.
It is always too short with Angelina! When she finished her concert in New Hampshire after an hour and a half, people wanted it last at least twice as long :-) But yeah here it was cut off at a particularly sweet spot. Million Miles she created when her second grandfather passed away: tears were rolling down her face when she wrote it. It is about losing a loved one and feeling the loss and emptiness, it is also about knowing they never really leave you. During live concerts she tends to slow it down and the belting cry is much prolonged becoming a cry to the high sky. During those concerts she stressed the comforting part of the song.
You could have wrapped this up after Angelina sings to her beautiful and lucky baby cousin Athena. Someone I'm sure has filled you in on the details of this special Tribute to her Maternal Grandpa. This was Angelina's first Original for Republic Records shortly after she signed with them so she was 14 yrs old here. Great reaction 🔥🔥🔥♥👣
Angelina has been writing songs since she was 10 years 0ld - So far 12 have been released: Oslo, What is Life?, Shield, Million Miles, 7th Heaven, Love Don't Let Me Go, Now I'm The Fool, Fire and Rain, All My Fault, Good in Goodbyes, Diamond, and Our Time. Angelina has stated that she has written about 100 songs that have yet to be released. Her songs are taken from her Journal writings. When she was 10/11 she rewrote the Lyrics to Amy Winehouse's Back to Black and Rehab to make them more age appropriate at that time.
Angelina wrote this song in 2019, in the days after her maternal grandfather passed away. She dedicated the song to anyone who has lost a loved one. For me, this song allowed me to finally properly grieve the loss of 5 loved ones over a 3+ year period. It was the first time I wept to a song. Angelina told us she has written over 100 songs. Here is the list of her songs released so far. "What is Life" first sung at age 11. We don't know how old she was when she wrote each song. Age presented is her age when she first sang it. "Oslo" age 11 "Shield" age 12 "Million Miles" age 14 we know she wrote this one in the days after her maternal grandfather passed in 2019 when she was 13 "7th Heaven" age 15 "Love Don't Let Me Go" age 17 "Now I'm the Fool" age 17 "Fire and Rain" age 17 "It's All My Fault" age 17 "Good in Goodbyes" age 17 "Diamond" age 17 "Our Time" age 17 Should include songs for which she was the first to sing "I'm Still Holding Out for You" age 10 .... considered one of her best vocal performances by many "Song for A" age 12 "Above the Water" a EDM song released near her 14th birthday "We're the Best" sung with RedOne at the FIFA Awards Feburary 27, 2023
Angelina wrote this song when she was fourteen years old. She wrote this song as a tribute to her deceased grandfather whom passed away in November of 2019. “Million Miles” was Angelina’s debut single after she signed with Republic Records in August of 2020. It was released in November of 2020.
Great reaction. And *wonderful* bonus video. I can’t imagine how sweet it is for her little cousin to be sitting on Angelina’s lap, feeling the vibrations of Angelina’s voice enveloping her soul.
Thank you Cheezy....this beautiful Original song was written by Angelina at age 13 in memory of her beloved Grandfather. She also said it was written for anyone who has lost loved ones in their lives with the knowledge "your never alone". She has always been a master vocalist for years now and is also wonderful song writer as well...as evidenced by her newest EP release. I think you definitely got the message Angelina was conveying in her lyrics. Enjoyed this a lot, look forward to more with you and Angelina, love your Warning reactions as well. 🥰🥰
THE COMMENTS! These are people like you & I. You are whitnessing something special, I can't explain it, but I can tell you she changes you! Start at the begining, trust me.
There’s another video of her singing to her baby sister, then another one where she is sitting on the couch with her little sister, singing while Juliette is trying to get her attention. That one really pulls the heart strings! Sorry I don’t remember what song she was singing, but hopefully won’t be too hard to find.
Hi! It was a rehearsal of La Boheme, the masterpiece by Charles Aznavour. Here is the link, in anticipation you will want to listen to it again and Cheezyxyz will choose to rect to it: ua-cam.com/video/q-esPeHV_gE/v-deo.html

I know many of the Angelina Purists will say she's never used Auto-Tune... But Personally I don't think that's exactly true. There is Live Auto-Tune and there is a good chance it was used in this production. IS it a bad thing? I don't think so. And the thing is her live on stage version without Auto tune is even more impressive. Autotune in Aangelina case just does less work when it's used, where in some singers cases autotune does all the work in what might be unlistenable without it.. Regardless Angelina is amazing.
@@keithserafy There are professionals that believe so, you can check out "That Charismatic Voice" Reaction video to this song. There just a couple sections where it sounds like it was used. I can 100% remember the Charismatic voice being one, and I know there are others. Either way, it's okay and not insulting by any means. Still love Angelina.

"good chance it was used in this production" - unless you have evidence your comments are just speculation.
What makes you think she used autotune in this. If you have evidence, provide it, otherwise you can't just make things up!
@@keithserafy Angelina can pull off some pretty complex vocal runs, and can sustain specific notes for a long time if needed.
