Big Fish eats a Lure at our Feet. Land Based Fishing

- #landbasedfishing #rockfishing #fishing last time on The Lateral Line the boys went on a land based fishing mission and on the last day they had a big beautiful King Fish at there feet that would not eat. This time around the boys are faced with a Tragic forecast and decide it’s best to go give land based fishing another crack and see if they couldn’t land a monster King Fish. The weather forecast was correct and the boys get hammered with rain making filming the adventure a struggle for the camera man. On the last morning the boys get a break in the weather and a big King Fish eats a lure right at the boys feet.
Congrats Nato and Milan on 50 episodes plus the Big Angry Fish. Awesome scenery, mateship and beautiful fish. Here is to the next 50. John

This isn't a fishing show. It's a lifestyle show. You take your audience with you guys and that's why I keep coming back. I feel watching TLL is almost akin to fishing, in that it doesn't matter if you guys catch a fish or not, it's just getting out there and enjoying what nature offers. I recently bought 1.5 acres in Brisbane to pretty much do what Milan wants to do, live sustainably. So thanks for chucking in the last bit of this video, it's bloody awesome to see and I look forward to Milan's future updates.

For me, the best thing about this show is the fact you show the times when it doesn't come together as well as the times it does. You have a plan and show what you do to try and execute it, even when it doesn't come off.
It is what it is mate 😎 we got sick of fishing trips being deleted when we were making TV because there wasn’t and huge fish caught. Going fishing and making a video regardless of what happens is way more fun 😁👍 thanks for watching 😎

Went from seeing you two on TV in NZ to getting a VPN thing to be able to watch you back in Germany to then follow all of your episodes here from the beginning! Best fishing channel there is! man, I'm not really into photography and stuff, but man Nato you're killing it aye. New Zealand is stunning even if the weather isn't ideal, it's still stunning. watching these videos makes me envious of the life's both of you live, and makes me want to pack up from here in Aus and start again out in NZ. the hunting the fishing the scenery the boating, the food you guys cook up. man you guy's should run a comp for a lucky viewer to join you guys on a trip. that'd be a dream come true.

That was a great episode. Nothing wrong with that one. You're too hard on yourself Nathan. You have to realise you guys are more than the fish you catch! That was as fun to watch as any. We have seen Milan catch how many Kingies over the years its fun to see him get dusted lol. And no problem listening to you talk, It wouldn't be the Lateral line without it! FG’s snap pretty close to the line wait from memory? I was testing knots over and over for months years ago when I was learning all things fishing. We were using 60lb braid so I’d guess it to be snapping 55lb and up if the were both FG’s. Thanks for watching 😎
Feb 2020 I made the decision to move to NZ from South Africa. Covid happened, borders closed, as well as my son being born that July made me doubt a lot. But my resolve grew stronger everytime I watched one off these videos, not just the fishing but being able to spend time in the outdoors with my son, teaching him something I love to do. After 2 years iv finally got here, and although my family will only come through in December its a new start in a amazing place. Thanks for the channel and content, really kept me on the grind getting here🍻💪... Now for this Wellington weather to play the part and let me fish

fantastic video as always just love they way you do things doesnt matter if ya dont catch much. great to see milan building his house too. took my daughter out to kawhia /aotea in the weekend caught nothing apart from 1 doggie and few small kahawai at aotea then sat morning fished kawhia heads daughter got her biggest snapper 62cm them 2 more round the 40cm from the beach very proud of her

It will happen for sure! We haven’t been up there for years and would love to go back for a couple weeks straight before Xmas and film a few shows so we can have some time off early next year 😎

I think the banter in the hut was as entertaining as the fishing and when Toby was playing cards I thought he was going to say the best out of 3 like what death said in Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey lol. Thanks for the great words on your dream home build “colorful penguin” … well said!! My grandfather was a noted builder and my father apprentice of the year as a young carpenter and to this day I still dream of building my own home 🤓❤️
Building your home is something we should all do at least once in our lives I reckon.
