Awesome footage once again, I been fishing the upper harbour in Auckland since November 2023 and still catching this week using a modified trout rod and light tackle unbelievable fun , will be trying the Wise Angler hooks as I have been fishing circle hooks all year. Once again thank you for sharing the diversity of NZ salt water fishing 😃😃😃

Those kingfish look like the rainbow runners we catch on the gulf coast here in the US. I wonder if they are the same.
Rainbow runners are a different species. We caught rainbow runners when we were in Vanuatu. They were awesome live baits for dog tooth tuna 😎 chur chur for watching and commenting 😁👍

That Gloria in a beginning, awesome 👌 put a piece of foam rubber on boat,will a very helpful to work with fish, landing on it or bait preparing. Not slip , blood is not over all boat.

Small boat fishing just makes that dollars per fish number look a lot more reasonable. Run a 20hp myself, $20 of fuel goes a LONG way!! Would be nicely supplemented by n nice hard top for those crappy days though😂

Great film work again Nathan , really enjoy that one sort of back to basics , bloody huge school of snapper at the back of the boat, we have a 2 limit in Southern South Australia on snapper, in the rest of the state snapper are permanently closed for the next three years

Yes, it is a PLB on Milan’s life jacket (I have one to). I’ve just hand stitched the PLB bracket to the life jacket then clip the PLB on. If you have no form of communication on you when you go into the water then life jackets just make it easier for maritime NZ to find your body 😬 chur chur for the comment 😎
