I mean it’s still lightning at the end of the day, if you wanted fast charging then it was probably a wise idea to get one but if your old plug and cable was working fine with bother 🤷♂️ I got the 12 and didn’t touch my cable cuz I just used my old one
the graphite looks nice! i prefer the dark ones over the golds and silvers

iPhone 12 Pro includes a USB-C cable which is why I had to buy a USB-C power adapter
