Wow. Watched it and Mark Cole Smith embodies Jay Swan. Not once did I think I was watching a different actor, I was just watching a younger Jay Swan. Excellent show.
Hard act to follow Aaron Pedersen's Jay Swan but this is a great start.

I’ll give this a go, and will give Mr. Coles Smith the benefit of the doubt…they literally wrote Jay Swan for Aaron Pedersen, though - so, he’ll have had his work cut out for him! From this clip, he does an amazing job!
Hope they will produce additional Mystery Road Series in the future!! Aaron is one of my favorite Aussie actors!🙏🏼❤️

Finished watching, Kept me on edge, Kept me wanting more, believable character portrayal, acting is on point from all cast, score was engrossing and eerie, teared up at the end... well done Crew and Cast.... 10/10
Mark will go a long way fast. He needs an agent in Los Angeles , and he’ll be a mega star in a heartbeat.

So can someone tell me what happened to Anya? Her character wasn't Mystery Road just Jay's daughter.
