Android Zero-Touch Portal Walkthrough

In this video I walk you through the Android Zero-Touch portal. I show you how to get started, dive into configurations and DPC creation, devices, users and administration, as well as how to add a reseller to your portal.
**Important Notes**
Android Zero-Touch is not a replacement for MDM, it supplements an MDM to give admins the ability to OTA Zero-Touch provision devices into MDM
When I mentioned DPC's as MDM servers, it is language crossed over from use cases like ABM. Android Zero-Touch is not an MDM, but the DPC's you create connect your configuration to your MDM

Hi, Can we enroll an already bought device to this portal, similar to enrolling Apple devices to ABM using Apple Configurator? or we can only enroll devices that are brand new?

Android Zero-Touch will allow you to enroll any Android device into the program, previously purchased or net new. A reseller will still need to enroll it for you like CDW. You will need to contact your reseller of choice to create your account and they will need the serial and/or IMEI of the device you want to register, as well as the Model ID and MFG.

Mike if a customer's email account is under gsuite workspace, then no need of creating a new gmail account , correct.

That is correct! You can use a gmail, but we would recommend a directory or Workspace account

Hello, Can I setup onbehalf of my customer as a reseller? or do I actually have to be a "reseller"?

Unfortunately you will need to be a reseller to setup a customers ZT account

A reseller is essentially the vendor you bought the device from. A reseller could be Apple itself, purchasing directly from them, or a Best Buy, or enterprise resellers like CDW
