Pershing, it's just a different (higher) league of yachts. Amazing.
Yes finally a Pershing.
This video has been on my wish list for 2 years.
I also asked you if you could find a Pershing.
It is a seriously fast yacht.
It is really lovely.
Great video Nick.
And thank you very much.
What a beauty, She's got the looks and the speed to match. Really nice layout and finishes, surprisingly large crew area for the size of boat and the engine room is awesome. Great tour Nick thank you.
Wot Sean said.
With a name like Pershing I always assumed these yachts as an American product. Looking it up it's very much Italian. Thanks for the tour Nick.
Thanks for watching!
A very thoughtful design indeed. Good crew seat. And a quiet price, for such a speed.)))
Probably my favourite boat you’ve covered Nick in my opinion. I’d love to see the very latest version for tech updates.
One of your best examples of a second hand, 7, 8 year old boat!!!!
Just perfect!!!! NICE!!!!
ouststanding design and what a looker. Can never decide between Mangusta and Pershings... both exceptional looking craft. Thanks Nick for the tour.
Our pleasure!
The media room is clever and the crew area is awesome. Nothing not to like. Thank you Nick. how us Marianne doing?? Hope she's ok.
All well thank you! 🙂
The galley being tucked into the crew area is BRILLIANT. You wouldn't want that on just any boat, but it works really well here.
I wonder why that arrangement isn’t used on more boats?
I agree. This is the prior model to the 8X. Azimut competition (S8) you have galley down and laundry via a steep ladder you have to go outside for. Same with Sunseeker 74 you have to go outside to access laundry and galley is down where berths. This layout just makes sense.
Never mind the speed, the design is great and it's nice to see a different style of interior and layout. Very nice indeed.
I was lucky enough to spend a weekend on a Pershing last year and - oh my pickled goodness! What a boat! Very very comfortable VIP cabin, all the facilities you could ever wish for and, the performance.....just simply staggering! You're right about that "rooster" tail - at 45 knots it's almost as high as the fly-bridge! Way out of my price range, but owned by a good friend. A marvelous experience, and a boat you never get tired of. My friend tells me he feels like a kid with a new toy every time he steps aboard. One thing you didn't mention was running costs; as I understand it, they're much less than you imagine for a boat of this size. Great tour; thank you Nick
Absolutely love this one, Nick! Great layout and they've not tried to cram in an 80' yacht's worth of space and rooms, which shows. 40kt though... I hope all those flower vases and that espresso machine are glued down!
I can’t find anything not to like with this one! Wonderful tour as always!
Glad you enjoyed it!
What a vessel. I would love to be on her going at full pelt. Though I guess it drinks up the fuel. The interior is gorgeous through out. With all the controls give you the feeling your in a cockpit. Thank you so much Nick for bringing this tour for our viewing pleasure.
You're very welcome!
Actually they are quite frugal. 300+nm at 40 knots
I had t checking the date this boat was launched as it looks so new and 'fresh'. What a machine of absolute beauty. Thanks for bringing this to our fantasy land Nick
Thanks Denison.
I recognize that in some ways Nick is a competitor to your own videos, so it's great you were able to work out a way to allow us to get these tours from Aquaholic!
They're all great guys and hugely helpful.
Well, at the end of the day, Denison is trying to sell the boat. Not get 10 million views on a UA-cam video, that's not their income stream. The only reason they make videos is to sell the boat, so really the more eyes they can get on it through the help of Nick, the better for them.
I would love to go for a ride in one of these great tour again Nick 👍🏻👌🏻
This is the best layout I think I’ve seen yet. Fabulous find Nick! Thanks for showcasing something so special!
My pleasure!
All you can say is what a beast such an amazing boat.
You picked a good one there Nick.
An 82 footer with a real high end … 45 knots
It’s a big boat but not too big for shallower waters and there’s a space for everyone
Great tour
Thank you Nick
i started to love yacht after the Pershing 115 came out. i was mesmerized by it.
What a boat, I love the layout it looks really refined and it must feel amazing to go 40+ knots on a huge yacht like this. Brilliant tour as always thanks Nick!
Glad you enjoyed it!
This is absolutely the LAST style of boat I would choose for myself but that doesn't mean I can't enjoy the beauty of it and be in awe of those figures you quoted Nick. She is one amazing piece of technology and engineering (and that by itself is enough to keep me interested). I'm sure, had I seen this thirty odd years ago I would have fallen instantly in love with her but as the years have flowed by my need to impress others with my toys has deminished like that mist on the River Dart the other day lol. I did enjoy the interior of this one more than most we see today, it had a very definate nod to the 70's about it but done with a lot of good taste and not at all "flashy"
Thank you as always Nick, you provide me my fix of all things floaty and keep me sane during my "retirement".
P.S. I'm so sorry Nick, that last sentence made you sound like a d**g dealer ......
Judging by the fresh new haircut this is recent. I must have missed this at the Miami Boat show. I did see “Humble & Hungry” the other Pershing 82’. Great boats and great video. Cheers!
Morning coffee and a new Video Nick!? Yesssss! Haha Now that’s a cruiser! I love the huge window headboard backdrop in the owners suite. Beautiful to wake up to. That media nook was cool too. Super cool yacht!
Love it! I thought for sure the tour was done after the impressive engine room! Just amazing! And 45 knots? Wow? Also, the “gentleman” in the greenish sport coat could use a lesson in manners. Excellent tour!
Good morning from Chicago, Nick! I used to work on one of these… I would agree that it’s “a nice bit of kit.”
Morning Chicago! 😃
Pershing yachts are just so cool.
Remember the old Cowboy movie - with a stage coach pulled by 8 horses, flying across the prairies at breakneck speed. Imagine FIVE THOUSAND horses pulling that stage - YIKES ! That's what's getting this monster up to speed - and flying across the water - 5,000 horses. And the condition of this "used boat" - it's not Gilligan's Minnow. This boats looks even better than new - extremely clean with everything polished smooth. A beauty. Thanks, Nick, for taking us where very few have been.
Beautiful piece of equipment, the lower lounge would work as a lovely office nook, I could very well imagine myself cruising along the ICW digitally nomading on that one!
Thanks Nick, It's my 1st time seeing inside one of these
Man, I really would love to see you do a sea trial with this boat. That would be amazing. Full power awesomeness.
Been waiting for one of these. Wonderful.
That one needs a sea trial. That is a great boat. Love the alternate thinking on the layout of the boat.
I have absolutely NO idea how, but I MUST have this boat.
Great review as always Nick. But 45knots. It could be a race to see which pegs first - the SOG going up or the fuel gauge going down. I noted you carefully didn’t discuss the range at cruise. 😂😂
I literally just asked you like two days ago if you’ve seen any 60-80 foot yachts with a layout like this, with the lower level media room for example instead of an extra sleeping accommodation. Well, thanks for showing!
I think that would be loads of fun on the water. Thank you Nick for showing it.
Surface drive with triple helm seats tell the rooster tail of speed.
Thank you for a wonderful walk through of this Pershing. Sorry I missed you on your South Florida tour; maybe next time.
Cheers!
I'm really impressed with this one, Nick. Thanks for bringing us along!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Another great tour, Nick and team! Thank you for sharing!! Be safe and hope you enjoyed Florida! 👍👍
Thanks for watching - yes we did!
@@AQUAHOLIC 👍👍
Dear God! What a gorgeous honking yacht. I wonder what it sold for new. Interesting that the galley is tucked away among the crew quarters. A nod to the fact that if you can afford this vessel you can afford a house keeper and cook. Not necessarily my cup of tea, but I could put up with the overindulgence if you twisted my arm. As always Nick, much appreciated tour.
First time I've fallen in love with a ladder... 🤣
Beauty of a yacht!! Thanks for sharing!! Really like the lighter wood tones! Makes it seem more open. That helm is pretty slick! More like flying a plane that floats! 👍👍
Pershing is my favorite Contemporary Yacht 🛥️.
Thx U Sir Nicolaus 🫡🇺🇸
Finally you get on a Pershing Nick. Great video of this 8X forerunner
Thanks!
What I often wonder when I watch these videos is how that goes with crew. You see that there is room for 2 or 3 people. But of course, if you want to hire them full-time, that would cost a lot. On the other hand, I don't think you want different crew members who have to learn everything every time you set sail. So how does that work? Are these yachts run with a crew or is that just for show?
Great review as always.
Thank you for the tour Nick. I always like seeing Pershing yachts & this one is no exception. The price isn't bad either IMO. I hate the fact that I've always had champagne tastes & a beer budget.
This might be my new favorite boat
Love it. The interior is perfect too.
This one is special - thanks for taking us along, Nick. Cheers!
My pleasure!
Great tour Nick and FAB boat !
Many thanks!
You forgot to mention the TV in the master, I think I saw something in the ceiling ;)
Lovely yacht, thank you Nick!
This is my dream boat Nick, thank you for a great Aquaholic tour!
Our pleasure!
Has a feel of the old Princess/Sunseeker layouts with that lower deck seating area, nice! Anyone else think the helm was more like the cockpit of a F111 fighter-bomber!!! 🤪
Some nice ideas in the layout. I like the idea of making more room for the crew, as they so rarely have much in the way of even basic comfort, it seems.
Thank-you, as always, for rememberng the Wave™!!
Love that layout!!
Someone certainly takes care f the engine room. It looks brand new. What a blast that would be at full speed.
I would love to see how they managed to get that big frig down into the crew quarters. Probably a few spinal subluxations and mangled toes & fingers.
Lovely boat, love the design and the colour of the wood and furniture. I don’t however fancy carrying everything up they stairs from the galley
What an amazing boat, I love the distribution. Thanks Nick.
My pleasure!
There's quite a bit more living area here than I was expecting. Kind of shocked me as to how much they're able to make in boats. This iis definitely a beautiful boat and excellent tour as always
Sports boat, with 3 bedrooms, 2 lounges and even crew quarters. Impressive!!
Love this yacht! Nice design around the cabins.
Crazy boat, just imagine sitting with a GT in the cockpit looking aft at max speed, must be mind blowing 😁
Very nice! You forgot the flip down TV in the owners cabin (ha ha ).
Another great video of another awesome boat....i still think the bbq's need to be way bigger though. I guess that's the Australian in me
Quite the most perfect boat I have ever seen! ❤
Nick, the nautical term for the placement of a bed across the longitudinal axis of a boat is termed "athwart-ships", but doesn't indicate any plural connotation of bedding. So a single bed would still be termed athwartship/s. You can check this with David, Rico and Victoria on your next meet up! Looking forward to that BTW. Great tour, I love the layout, however, I don't need to get to my dives sites that quickly so this one's not for me.
Fantastic as always
Thank you!
What a fantastic looking boat, over 50 mph quick for this size boat.
Is it Miles per gallon or Metres per gallon.
Great tour as always Cheers Nick and Marrianne.
Does Marrianne do all your editing and accommodation booking from home while you have to endure warm sunshine and looking around beautiful boats. 😂😂😂
No, she comes with me! 🙂
It's gallons per metre at full chat
Glad Marrianne is with you.
I expect she is too.
Magnificent!
Simply wonderful!
Love every inch of that yacht. If I had the money to buy, and fuel it, I’d be on the phone to the broker.
Awesome!!
Thanks for sharing.
Finally a Pershing do more please
Great design. It feels way more grand than 82’ should. Combining the galley & crew space is clever. Considering it’s getting on for 8 years old, it still looks pretty contemporary too. Nice boat.
Nice machine was only thinking other day would be nice to see a pershing or riva in your library and here you go 😉
excellent machines those pershings, aren't they nick? just like the video.. once again! 👍👍
Hey Nick I am loving all these American yachts and comparing them with European yachts it's really close on who has the most comfortable either way it's awesome looking at them, have a great day bud 👍
Thanks for all this nick i
wish I owned the could the 2 twins become a double bed
and it’s all amazing don’t know how I feel about the day heads/ensuite
I’ve got to say, Nick, it’s kinda weird seeing someone other than Mauritzio showcase a Pershing!! Weird good, however 😂 Like you said, quite a machine 👍(and I’m glad you were finally able to get on a Ferretti product, they are really missing the BOAT!!) 😅
Beautiful clever and loaded with style and power. I would just love for you to have had a cutaway of this thing at speed with the rooster tail behind ? Thanks Nick.
Holy 70's tiles in the master bath!!!
I do love a Pershing,
That would be one heck of a ride on that fly bridge! Wow! 👍👍😲😲👊👊
I loved it!!
I like the layout on this one. You should add the Why200 to your list :)
Hi Nick i watch all of your video’s and was wondering if you could do one showing how you film the boat tours, the equipment used, camera, audio along with editing for the finished product. Would be great to see how you work thanks
It does have a comfortable feeling about it.
Nice boat Nick, ta! 🙂
Very nice yacht and another good video 🚤🛥⛵️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️👍👍👍
Thank you very much!
We haven't seen Persing for a while on your channel. Beautiful boat indeed. I started working in company that builds fully aluminium boat, mainly for government use, Pilots, coastguards military etc. Interesting thing was that with jet propulsion, they don't have traditional rudder wheel, just two joysticks for steering and fully "drive by wire" so no physical connection.
I'm not certain but it appeared to me the wood was flame maple on at least the interior doors but maybe the wall panels too? The main deck floors appeared to be spalted maple. This is a very interesting selection because it makes the boat look bigger because of it's light colours - not that it looked small, just simply the lighter colours do that. What a perfect yacht, this is my cup of tea. Normally I prefer no upper deck on a sport cruiser but this one is perfect size while keeping lower profile and weight down, you are not likely to lose much top end speed by it. Looks like it was a Charter, it would attract customers simply by itinerary, wherever it goes it's twice as fast, means you can maybe slip in a couple / few more places in. Now, potentially into a scheduled maintenance with a special cost involved, perhaps the yacht was priced accordingly? I'm not a market guy, just seems the price is, well, priced to sell, and I'm assuming tender is included with it's twin stainless steel buckets forward of the helm, you have multi-purpose capabilities = ice cold beverage keepers, sea sickness aids, manual bilge pumps, and even emergency head. Thanks for sharing, and educating people about what a real yacht looks like. And, that you do not need the massive flybridge restricting your speed to "Just able to, over-take pontoon boats, maybe." Now, I'm going to implant something to memory, you will not be able to unsee or undo this image of, "A Flybrigde in many cases (most often smaller yachts) looks very much like a pontoon boat was mounted atop, becoming the upper deck with canopy.
Hi Nick. Well..... no style issues here, always loved a Pershing...... I agree that the TV is best buried..... 45kn..... 80ft...... yep....it sounds like fun......but you know it's coming....... NOT ENOUGH BARS.....but very nice :) Cheers. S
Brilliant!
"A nice bit of kit."
Interesting phrase.
I wish I had that bit of kit.
I wonder if you could get a tour of MTU engines ?? I know their owned by Rolls Royce power systems but still based in Germany?? Would be interesting to see the technology that goes into their marine engines .
Thanks as ever for the tour an amazing boat !!
Organic ....very encompassing 👍😎
Very nice engine room! Love those big beefy engines! 👍👍what is the height of the rooster tail on that thing when it is flying?
Looking at the Haulover inlet videos, these Pershings seem to be shipped with supermodels as standard.
