  • At £350 this is a mid range robot vacuum cleaner available in the UK, Is it any good? Lets find out...
Link to product on Amazon: amzn.to/2QsEE22
In this video I will leave out the mop part of the cleaner as this tech is just useless in my opinion in 2021, the tech is just not there yet. Better to use a mop pad with a pole and wet wipes. What is the point of dragging a damp cloth behind a robot vacuum if it does not change water or dries it after ......

Hi, thanks for this useful review. This robot seems to be in direct competition with the Proscenic M7 Pro. I was going to buy the M7 but Amazon notified me about the Q6 today and undercut the price of the M7 by £140! Normally, including the automatic dust collector they both seem to be £499 on Amazon UK.
Both these devices seem to be identical in their specification. Do you think there's any connection between the two brands?
I would probably use the mop function just for a light clean of the kitchen floor. Does the Q6 notify you when the dust bag is getting full?
I was very disappointed in the Q6's failure in sucking up the dust from the device into the dust bag. I haven't seen a similar test with the M7 so I don't know whether it's better. Did you try again with the dust collection? I've seen reviews of other devices where it can take up to three attempts to clear the robot's dustpan.
I wonder what the point is in paying extra for automatic dust collection if it basically doesn't work. At least with the M7 you buy the auto collecting dustbin separately for £99, so you can save that amount if it's not worth it.
Finally, when in mopping mode, does it have automatic carpet detection? I know you didn't test the mopping but I thought you may have spotted it in the specs.
Many thanks. I'm now a subscriber.

I would say the dust collector works if it is light cleaning and only fluffs and hair, if the machine is cleaning daily then each emptying would have minimum amount anyway but then also depends on how dirty your floor gets everyday. I personally does not need auto emptying but bought this for my own interest and review (I like to know how it works like sylar)
Looking at the M7 Pro it does looks exactly the same and even the rotating radar is identical so I think it is just a rebadge from another reseller which is common in Chinese market, however I do not comment on things I did not test as Chinese are known to copy the look but use cheaper component inside. Check out their amazon video review for more info on those.
mopping mode for me is a con......I now review 2 robot with mop function it is more hassle than worth, my wet wipe at the end of a stick does a better job in a few minutes, I did mention in my video that there could be user out there with limited ability to bend or in wheel chair even but I am sure even so it would be easier to mop instead of changing water tank and wet pad.

What’s wrong? Make sure your WiFi is 2.4ghz and not 5Ghz

@@BCreviews thanks for the reply. I did have it set to the 2.4 and went through all of the troubleshooting they have and it still wouldn’t work for some reason 😩so I’m returning it!
