Stagecoach Cumbria And North Lancs Lakes Connection Optare Solo: KX55 RBY - Route 46

Now THIS has been one that I've wanted to tick off for a long time! If you didn't know, I'm a huge fan of Optare Solos, and in particular, I've been hunting all of Stagecoach Cumbria's 51 reg Solo fleet.
Within these, used to be Kendal based 47014, or KX51 CTU - Which unfortunately bowed out of service last year before I could get it. However, Kendal still has 3 Optare Solos in this stunning Lakes Connection scheme, so, I decided to go to the area, and ride the first one I could get, which in this case, is KX55 RBY - A 2005 solo.
Honestly, I was taken by surprise with this one, and it's route! It was extremely scenic at points, everyone was so friendly, including the driver, and everyone was just extremely happy :) Additionally, The solo it's self actually sounded surprisingly good at multiple points - Despite missing the Alison 545 whines of 014. Ether way, enjoy the sights and sounds of scenic Cumbria!
