Preserved Delaine Heritage Trust East Lancs Volvo Olympian: M1 OCT

Back around this time last year, I attended Fenland BusFest - Formerly Eastern Bus Enthusiasts' flagship event of the year, Hosted in the heart of the fens (Specifically, in Whittlesey). It's an event that was celebrating 12 years of running each year, although due to lack of interest and clashing with several other major events, was cancelled in 2024, and likely isn't returning, which is a huge shame.
The final thing I rode to end off the day, was Delaine 116 - A East Lancs bodied Volvo Olympian from February 1995, New to Delaine, and always with the company from new. Following new DDA legislation in 2016 that prevented step entrance vehicles from operating on service work in the UK.
This beauty of a motor was withdrawn after operating as part of Delaine's Step Entrance Farewell on December 31st 2016, and was retired peacefully into the family owned Delaine Heritage Trust Collection, where it has continued to operate at heritage events across the UK ever since.
Enjoy some absolutely fantastic thrash (Albeit a bit quieter then in person due to the wind coming in destroying the audio a bit), as we thrash back to Peterborough to end the day.
