BOOTSTRAP - Edinburgh Napier University Portfolio submission 2025

This is a short film focusing around time travel and specifically the "bootstrap paradox" that happens when an event causes itself. For this film I used my camera which had been provided by my school for higher photography. 3 of my close friends helped out by acting in the film and we shot most of our scenes in Victoria Park, however some were shot in my shed. The film revolves around a young inventor who creates a watch that allows him to time travel, before he is stopped by a mysterious man with high level technology... who is seemingly from the future himself. I shot and directed the film and also edited it using capcut. My 3 friends Fraser (present man), Laurie (future man) and Ethan (dead man in future with mask) starred in the film.
