My goodness...he is a human being and not one of us is perfect. He made a mistake and used poor judgement. He's not the first person in the universe to do so, come on people cut him some slack he is a good man💜
I agree. I'm 100% against DUI but people make mistakes and he will undoubtedly learn from it. He'll do better going fwd and put this behind him.

Boo to the haters! I feel bad for Suga, but also respect him for doing the right thing going to police station and paying the fine and even having license revoked. I'm sure he was upset enough with all that. People forget that our stars are Human, as Jung Kook once or twice reminded us in his live streams. People are who are demanding Suga leave BTS are haters or aren't true fans of BTS. Show Suga all the love and support you can. And yes you can do this while also saying that drinking and driving (no matter the type of transportation) is wrong. He's paying for his mistake and instead of asking if Suga is mentally okay people are dragging him. I really hope he gets through this okay.

Leave? For DUI? The only people who can do that are his company or his members, and that's highly unlikely. The punishments by law are normal--everyone gets that.
I've read horrible comments in some other chats which Suga doesn't deserve at all. Haters are really nasty and scary people. @@-ceejee- Something similar could happen, though. I don't drink either, but once I ended up in a car with a driver who had been drinking. Fortunately, nothing serious happened and no one got hurt, but it certainly was a mistake that I haven't made again.
And let's be honest, scooting along on an electric scooter isn't anywhere near as dangerous to the person using it or the people around him as driving a car or motorcycle is.

He must be the unluckiest man in the world. To ride for a couple of minutes, park right outside your house AND have a cop right there when you are already home. Makes you wonder if it was anyone else they would have got a warning or just a fine/ticket.

Suga’s military service is more civil service rather than a soldier 24/7 like the others (he chose this because of his shoulder I think). Anyway, he is getting punished the way most drunk drivers who are caught by the police are punished. It’s enough-he is taking on the consequences of his actions just like any other citizen would if caught by the police driving while under the influence. American pop stars/actors behave far worse and get away with so much…. I wonder why so many Koreans are so quick to judge?

💜💜When people are determined to cause havoc, and destroy what they don't like, they will latch on to anything they can to do damage, no matter what it is. Some of this "outrage" about Suga falls into that category. It is just haters, like you said, Miccylala, trying to do damage. Suga made a mistake, he faced the consequences legally, and probably is dealing with even more consequences emotionally. We should support him for the good he's done, and help him heal, instead of unnecessarily making the situation worse.🤝💜💜

Suga is a human and he makes mistakes just like the rest of us. Nobody was hurt. I personally think the punishment was unfair and he was made an example of because of who he is. My opinion. Forgive and move on.
I mean ya he shouldn't have been on the road operating a scooter while drunk, he could've fallen off or hit someone. I'm sure he'd rather go through this punishment rather than being thrown in jail. And I'm sure he'll get his license back at some point.

I don't think his punishment was unfair, he is a grown man in his thirties who decided to drive a vehicle under the influence. Things could have easily escalated and gotten out of hand, he could have hit someone but thank God that didn't happen. I've seen this happen a few times with good people making one bad decision to get behind a vehicle after having a drink and then innocent lives getting lost.

On an electric skateboard? I've been a nurse 20+ years, trauma center and never once saw that someone else was injured from a electric scooter. We should all be as self righteous as you.
@@Sassycat-re9jh Just cause you haven't experienced anything like that in 20+ years doesn't mean that it hasn't happened and other people haven't experienced it. I also work in healthcare and have seen a drunk skateboarder who went into oncoming traffic and caused a massive accident that left a family of 5 destroyed forever with two family members d*ad. Aside that, I have also seen drunk cycling accidents and a few electric scooter accidents that have left people injured. Just cos it's rare doesn't mean it can't happen. And who wants to take that chance? Being a responsible adult doesn't make you a snob or a self righteous person.

It was a frigging kick board. At least he used that and didn't get behind the wheel. It's like being ticketed for walking while drunk. From what I have observed Korea has a strong drinking culture so I don't understand why certain people are out to get Suga. It was a electric scooter, he fell off in front of his home and he was alone. If a cop hadn't been present at the time of the incident we never would have known what happened. The cop also could have issued a warning and let Suga go. Based on how Suga describes the incident I think the cop overreacted because it was Suga. I'm totally against drunk driving but Suga apologized so the public should move on to more important issues. I mean they glorify drunkenness in their movies and people don't seem to have a problem with that.

It was an e-scooter (motorised). Injuries and deaths from these are on the increase worldwide. A study from one of the city hospitals in my country showed that 30% of the e-scooter injury presentations to hospital involved alcohol in men in their 20s and 30s. And the risk to pedestrians by an impaired e-scooter user is significant. I don’t think we should minimise this. Instead of pretending this wasn’t a big deal, I think ARMY should be grateful that Yoongi apologised and took responsibility. Hopefully a lot of other people will learn from his mistake 💜
I've been reading some news recently about an incident involving Suga and I'm a little worried...

Everybody makes a mistake and that mistake was already acknowledged by Yoon-gi. He apologized, paid his fine and accepted the revocation of his license. As if these were enough, some people still are trying to be self righteous about the issue by spreading malicious & unsolicited comments. Let the authorities do their job and its not your place to dictate how the investigation will go or what punishment be meted out. DUI is one of the most common cases for most people. It becomes complicated when there is damage to property or loss of life/lives in the process. In Yoon-gi's case, it was only him who got hurt as he fell down, no more no less. Yoon-gi, stay calm and strong. The video shows the real story _ no one was harmed and you told the truth.. stay focused and be safe next time and always..
