If it goes like with FS 25 the product is not finished and I will not act as a beta tester for them again as with FS 25.

Thanks for the vid FSG. This is an interesting idea, but I think Giants should have waited a year or so to introduce it like they do with the mobile game. We just got FS25 and now there's another new game. Strange timing.
hi, yes totally agree the timing does seem odd while we have so many issues still with 25
Got the Tobii5 eye / head tracker. Works great and nothing to wear. Works great in fs25, Ats, DCS and Msfs2024. Great for looking around and you dont have to fumble feeling buttons you cant see.
Better if they stuck to getting the main game working properly. Still, all the UA-camrs can now show us their free headsets.

This makes perfect sense. The game has been a buggy mess since lunch and a lot of the new futures have been poorly implemented. With this announcement. No wonder it is the way it is. Too many eggs in one basket.
This is a different dev team working on a different platform to FS25

@@jonathanmaybury5698 I sure do love it when people chime in with an opinion based on absolutely no first-hand knowledge. That's not what the means at all. It's pretty common practice for major dev studios to outsource a smaller entry for their IPs to another studio who specializes in whatever they need for the game, in this case, VR. GIANTS aren't a VR developer. They'd be silly to try and tackle that. Their team was not split for this effort.
@@syphon583Giants are not a large corporation, and they lack the financial resources to undertake a project of this magnitude, making it a substantial risk. They would trial it in house before making such a venture.
I agree with your comment and I'm not one to uselly bash game devs but seriously bad timing giants your trying to sell fs25 build up the community on that it's still a new game then release this once everyone is getting a bit stale fs25 they really need to release a dlc to the community to keep the peace when this launches
I bet some things will be added as mods by the end of current game's tenure.
I mean things like in-depth workshop, bc with head tracking and steering wheel you get all the in-vehicle experience already.

Really nice to see Giants innovating and reaching a wider audience though I am shocked with the amount of comments across multiple videos and forums saying "Giants should concentrate on fixing FS25 first before releasing another game" Its no secret that game companies have multiple different development teams that work on different projects across different sites with different goals and deadlines and budgets

true, but hiring a bunch of people to do vr takes resources that could otherwise be put to fixing the game that already exist, and not only that, is also BY FAR their biggest fanbase. IE console and pc
@ Hiring people is done by the recruitment team and I can assure you the recruitment team weren’t working on FS25 updates, not every Giants employee is a dev
@@SimSheriff you do realise hiring people costs money? and hiring VR devs takes money away from hiring fs25 devs.
But it IS the same game, only a different version, in this case VR. Regardless of what engine they build their game off of, releasing a VR version of a game separate from it's 2D 3D environment cousins doesn't make it a different game. The ONLY difference's is it's title Farming Simulator VR and that the game will be more immersive because it is in VR format.
Fix FS25 first before attempting to release another version of the same game.
This has huge potential, I've played Elite Dangerous in VR and it's.... Words can't describe it
I play WRC and iRacing in VR... it's so good!

I just don't think it's needed maybe this should have trilled has an extra for FS25. I don’t know what to think of VR I don't have a VR headset, but I did try them out at Gamescom, but it made be disoriented, but it's been 6 years since so maybe its improved.
After the patch my game runs perfect. After the hotfix I can’t select anything on the map and can’t quit the game anymore. 🙁

The issue I ha e with this is the game play features. The vr game looks to have some cool stuff. But in FS 25, we got nothing game play feature wise. Only new visuals
Actually, we do have new game play features 1 raising and lowering planters and Seeders PLANT depth, 2 tilting combine headers for hills, 3 manual gearshift if you play with manual settings on, also 4 marrow adjust in that mode yes only if you play in 1st person but its new, 5 Feild flooding 6 driver assessed steering/GPS 7 switch to worker/helper in full driver assessed steering/GPS. Thats 7 new game play features more than most games ever get.

The gps is just about the only noticeable thing introduced which doesn’t even effect pc players cuz we’ve had it as a mod

@@julius9810 manual gearbox was already a thing, but only with a steering wheel it is now implicated with a keyboard.

WOOOW😍😍😍😍😍 Well this looks amazing. I would love picking vegetables, selling, repair of veickles. This is just creating a hole new world and possibilities to farming simulator. I know this is at a very early stage, but still, this is awesome in my opinion. I really need to test it out

They seam to have the tools for it, when ever that racing game comes out with giants engine and VR support.

@@piggehdeluxeyep some good examples of games that didn’t get built for vr are dcs. Ask the devs if they built that game with the intention to have vr in there and play it and you’ll see it’s clearly the case. Another good example is American truck sim, not built for vr but adapted. Both examples aren’t perfect but they work. Fs could do the same they have the talent.
@ Beamng aswell, the dev said it would not happen cause of how the game was made with there physics and the game overall being extremely hard to run, but after soo much feedback and requests they made it happen.

Easy with the passive aggressive "Anyone familiar with business operations knows" just for clarity, and I'd hate for you to make assumptions about me... I co-founded my own business which is growing rapidly and we're constantly hiring new people, SO being familiar with business operations, No I wouldn't put people who know nothing about VR on a VR project, I'd hire them (about 2 years ago Giants job pages were full of unity developer roles, I even remember discussing it at the time on stream and wondered what they might be working on) - Giants even quoted this today - "VR was facilitated by a team with focus on VR expertise and FS25 still received the attention it would have without it"
@@TheFarmSimGuy Sorry I don't buy that, they even admitted at the release of FS25 about the lack of equipment. This game only had half of what FS22 had yet you say that they still had the same team members I'm sorry but the figures don't add up. The game is full of bugs, it has the worst rating since FS19 and it's bound to surpass even that.

I cannot see this being worth buying until at least the third generation and even then if there are no model makers for it I doubt it will last beyond the 1st generation. As we all know without the model makers this game would be completely boring, and would be dead within months.

Who asked for this? I would never thumbs down one of FSG's videos but I will go and thumbs down this trailer on giants page. Wish they were talking whatever they have invested in this and put it into FS25 instead.
To be fair the community's been asking for VR for ages... but I think the preference would have been for it to be in base game. But that would be a monumental task
but they wanted VR added to the current game I think. Not as a whole separate thing. People wanted to be able to use their BR set ups to control the current game.
I don’t think it’s really needed, but it’s just an option and there’s nothing wrong with options. No one has to buy it if they don’t want to.
True BUT this game is about to be released which means it's been in the works for a long time. They could have put those resources towards FS25 to make sure it was even better rather than this whole separate game.
@ Not sure how much a group of Unity developers would have been on a game that doesn't run on unity though. totally different skillset and knowledge. like asking someone who writes the code for Windows 11 to make a first person shooter
