Good use of materials that are left over from other projects, but not free... you paid for it somewhere along the way, so there is a cost..., but I commend you for keeping it out of the landfill.

This reminds me of the age-old question: "How do you make a small fortune in the construction biz?" Answer: "Start out with a large fortune."
How do you build a shed for FREE? Start out with dozens of other projects and never return the overage.
I've got to say, though, that's an amazing product! Looks great!

I admit this is a bit of an odd video for me but there are circumstances where someone needs a shed but only has space for a small one. Hope this video helps those people. But no mater what I truly appreciate your support along the way, even in videos like this :)

Nice work. More vids like this from more content creators would be a fabulous thing. Got me thinking about other projects I could do around our home with what we have. I was curious if the large open gap at the top on the door side was going to be an issue with wild critters.

Was thinking of what a small lean-to would do for me, but I do enjoy woodworking outdoors on nice days so maybe I’d store some tools for projects rather than bring them in and out of my basement shop. Plans would be great!

Why did you leave the big gap between the front wall and the roof? A perfect entry point for water, dust and pests😮
I also would have put an extra piece of timber to close the gap around the door. Apart from that it looks good.

    • @davidriley7659

probably airflow. I dont think this is a particularly secure build, just keeps things organised.

I've been framing for a while and it's so funny to hear you explain stuff. Also, it's not a chop saw. It's actually a miter saw. A miter saw can cut angles and bevels. A chop saw is typically meant for cutting metal, it only cuts straight and it runs at higher rpms. I actually hate when people call a miter saw a chop saw

With the openings at the roof there’s a very good possibility that you will get hornets nests in the shed.

    • @BYOTools
