    Amazing communication with the concerned parent. I also like to educate parents that:
    -A febrile fit will not cause brain damage. There is no increased risk of epilepsy if it was a simple febrile fit. They will usually grow up healthy.
    -No regular drugs are needed.
    -Nothing can be done to prevent a febrile seizure from occurring. Around 30% of kids who have had one febrile convulsion will have another.
    -Fever is a normal response to infection and is harmless, to give paracetamol if in pain or miserable. But it does not protect against febrile convulsions.
    -First aid measures.
