Absolutely incredible to see the race in Hyderabad! The dust make it seem like driving on our usual desi roads though. Take care of that and we have a world-class circuit!
It’s a street race, the public road was transformed to racing for 1 day.

Really strong drive by JEV, Cassidy and by Nio's driver Sette Camara! That's a huge win in my books!

This was one of the most exciting tracks. These cars need more opportunities to go full out
Exactly, I want them on real slicks or f1 style treaded tires not lousy a/s, better downforce&unlock the front mgu to supply more power and not just braking regen. Maybe in a couple more seasons? 🤔
@@4literv6 That’s not the point of the series though. It’s all about sustainability. That’s why the all season type tyres and “stock” chassis.

Interested very much in these cars challenging f1 though for lap time's at the more technical track's like Monaco&silverstone.
And to do that they need true grip level racing tires, unlocking the front mgu to provide power and more downforce for high speed cornering.

@@anonymousguy999 it’s mostly because of the trees. The fallen leaves on side of the track and nearby construction sites made it look dusty.
@@anonymousguy999 You will be surprised by Indian roads. But it is not surprising, It is sunny and dusty in India. Hard to drive on roads and lots of accidents, that i what gives Indian roads character. lol

Most exciting race of the season so far. On the other hand, Wehrlein continue to extend his championship lead
really didn't expect that earlier in the race when Dennis was fourth, thought he'd done a blinder in the championship!! But this race never stopped changing and being exciting
Wehrlein P4 just by keeping it clean and focusing on his race, what a fantastic result when he was down in P16
Yeah, give that crash in practice..... that is impressive.
The next two races will likely be critical.
De Costa need a clean race, he finally got one.
So did DS Penske and Vergne brought that home.
Wehrlein was avoiding risks and saving points after Dennis/Rast crash and Vandoorne's penalty. He had over 1% left after finish. I guess he could have catched Da Costa easily if he wanted to.
Wehrlein is the best driver who is too good for F1

Big crashes, yes, that's what Formula E is all about. Bumper cars for adults or what? Plus, drivers getting punished for trivialities. There's absolutely nothing great about FE. Has always been and always will be the worst racing series ever.

Actually it wouldn't be that dusty but , recently government starting building new secretariat after demolishing old one so the dust is result of that
It is windy near a pond . It washes that sand onto the roads

Great race, one of the best in FE!! I really feel like FE has arrived this year - not trying to push a certain genre of music, not trying to be #cool with fanboost on social media, not trying to make cars drive around excessively tight and narrow tracks where they can hardly drive nevermind race...no, Formula E, after always having so many charms and so much going for it, has finally eradicated basically all of its drawbacks and, combined with a truly excellent presentation team with cameras on the next level this year, IMO it's the best motorsport series to watch on the planet now. Great work Formula E! It's been so satisfying to see you guys grow from Beijing 2014 to Hyderabad 2023, here's to the next decade of great racing to look forward to!
More events please, twenty locations, two 1hr races per event please!. Three Attack mode activations each race, 3 mins each, these one minute efforts now are a bit lacklustre.

as a fan who was present at the venue during the race i got goosebumps, this race really surpassed my expectations. i thought a E-race would be boring and whack but the thrill and rush of blood i got when i was in the venue oh my god i cannot exhibit it in words. oh my god oh my god.

First of all kudos for choosing to come to India unlike Formula 1 who seem to have abandoned us but why did you schedule it on the worst possible day, 11th Feb was our GATE exam and probably most mechanical engineers in the country were busy taking the exam, I wanted to visit this event in person but alas couldn't😥
F1 did not abandon India, the then ruling party of UP pit excess of tax on F1 by calling it entertainment and not a sport. On top of that there were many mismanagement issues. F1 had Indian Contract for 2 more years but had to cancel it due to the greed on UP politicians.
Moto GP is coming to India, so F1 might have a chance too.

I was very excited about Evans possibly competing with Dennis and Wehrlein. Incredible race but absolutely brutal day for so many drivers, especially Bird and Buemi.
Dennis could have very easily won the race...

What is the attack mode please tell? New to this sport
Attack mode enables you to get few more powers in the car but you have to sacrifice the racing line for that
So far the gen 3 cars look good, they look quite fast on this track. It didn't feel like I was watching a go kart race, but an actual motor race.
That was a very exciting race.

icl the use of attack mode doesn’t seem as useful as it used to be
I think that Diriyah and Hyderabad both have the same issue where the attack mode is at the end of the only real straight on the track. Meaning, they have to go all the way around again before they can actually benefit from the attack mode.
The Capetown track looks much better for attack mode, with a lot of straights. It’ll be interesting to see if attack mode still doesn’t help much there.
