8:00 tow hitch module (AHM) wiring. If you plan on retrofitting your Westfalia OEM tow hitch then this is the place your module goes. There is a connector very close that connects to the actual tow bar harness. Just in case anyone wondering what it is for :)

Tip on the wheel removal. When you have access to the wheel itself, close the lower boot door, then put the plastic tab in the boot locking latch….THEN lower the door again…. It’s designed to lever out the wheel that way and keep it suspended safely for you to then remove. Not the way you pulled it out.
Thanks for the video. My radio doesn’t go on when I switch it on but navigation system work. Could it be the module that’s dead as well?
Desperate for help with my BMW X5 I had a water tank leak in the back of my car and filled up the whole battery tray and now I have no suspension and radio and would love to hear back from you to know if I can replace these parts or what you would recommend? Thanks in advance
Nice one pal , at least all the modules are in one area . What the TV harness you put in, any info or link. Just a thought , you could do away with the spare wheel to save time and weight and just put in a foam cannister . Well presented 👍
Don't think you need to remove the air suspension unit separately, just the bracket covering the battery.

Hi great vid there is an easier way to remove spare wheel!! put the handle of plastic carrier into the lower tailgate holes and pull down lower tailgate and it pulls spare wheel up👍
I thought he did use the tailgate until I watched it again. Good tip for those who don't know.

Could this be the reason my door speakers are Intermittent got one that works full time other 3 are Intermittent tested one and had 4oms when off when radio is playing over 70oms are coming from the wire plug but not to the speakers when harness pluged in to the speaker noting

you don’t need to remove the compressor bolts you need to remove the 4 frame bolts lift it up and it stays that way, also to remove the radio module what you need is disconnect the antenna which plugs in to unit, remove the top nut which is clearly visible and pull the module out you don’t need to remove the plastic housing.

I have x5 e53 no sound also no nav or dsp radio module is in dashboard with a hifi amp in cargo area I have 12.8 v on the power wire and 12v on the signal wire (white). 42 pin plug going into amp but no sound out of speakers
