Watching this 30 years later, and feeling so regretful that an opportunity was missed to see a-ha in concert in SA when I was 24. Until finding this video, I didn't even know they'd toured here. Their combined talent is phenomenal!! Morten at times looks so tired that he can barely stand, yet continued to belt out those incomparable vocals 😮 He seems possessed, in a good way...like he was channeling Elvis-like energy. He is other wordly for sure. Pal & Mags are also so super talented, it's mind blowing 🤯 #ahaForever

ive watched a lot of live performances by all the greatest bands of all time... lets be honest. this performance is up there with the top 3. People dont realize what amazing songs Aha have and I mean every single song they wrote is a perfect song. I never knew they played this well during a live show.. this is incredibly impressive to say the least. and considering its 1994, wow. his guitar parts absolutely amazing/unique and perfect.
Paul really shines here... he is not only an incredible song writter but a great guitarist 👍 Morten's voice here is so good... one of the best concerts. Wish I was there....

Love their concerts between 1990-1994, especially the 1991-2 shows where Morten's voice is clearer. Unbelievable they split up a month or so after this epic show 😲
Got into aha 1985 and my friend said they would not be around for long and I said watch this space. The best bands of the 80s are still around and that’s rock and roll
A-ha had some very catchy songs on their reportoir. Almost all albums have multi platinum singles. But their respect was gained on stage. Almost all specialists say that they are part of a restricted group that could sound better on stage than in studio. Morten is the great example as most wouldn't believe that he actually sang live, that's how good he is.

I'm so happy I stumbled accross this concert. It brings me great happiness and sadness. Morten Harkett and a-ha was my late daughter Christine's ultimate Idol/s - she was a huge fan since 1985. She had a bedroom with walls filled with Morten and a-ha posters. This concert would have been her ultimate dream...... sadly she passed from a MVA on the 19th March 1991, aged 18. I'm sorry I missed this concert right on our doorstep, but I was totally oblivious to it and many other things, plus had I known, it would possibly have shattered me completely. This group, even for an older women who grew up with the music of the 60 & 70's, are really extremely talented. Morten has an unmistakably beautiful angelic voice, and of course, is one of the most beautiful male vocalists of all time - he has even aged beautifully. BRAVO. Fantastic. Thank You.

I encourage you to go down the A-ha rabbit hole. Check out all their albums! Every one! So much diversity, you’re bound to be even more blown away! I am American and followed that advice from someone two years ago. Take on Me to me now? Meh…..my mind was completely blown with with what comes from all three of these men’s hearts, minds, and souls! I am so in love with them for that. Wow! that is so awesome, i love it and got totally lost in it. I mean everything is just perfect, brilliant guitar, piano playing and passionate vocals with such a voice.. a perfect live-act, that to me reach peak in "memorial beach" and "hunting high.."(which is incredibly powerful and to me pleasingly different to the overproduced sleek radio version) simply pure enjoy! It is an amazing concert , no doubt. Personally though, I think all three are equally good looking in their own ways. I am in love with them all. More so for their minds, hearts, and souls for that is where the true beauty and magic is❤❤❤

Oh Morten was such a tease at 5:48. If I was the girl in front of him, I would die knowing he stood THAT close but unable to touch haha. And of course he HAD to do all that touching session during "Touchy!" :D Gotta love him
He does that a few times in this show, there were a couple times (during The Sun Always Shines on TV, for ex) where they did get a hold of his arm and he really had to pull away. Other times that I just knew someone was going to grab him in a certain area... there were a few that got close, LOL.

I always had a big love of Viking History, not sure why , but being born in Newcastle UK ,I have found out that there is ties to a Viking heritage and I was so glad to find out why I was so prone to this history ,it’s in my genes , when AHA came on the scene I was so magnetically drawn to them It was the haunting music I was waiting for ,Went to their concert in Perth WA Magical 🇬🇧🤟🥰🍷🐾🧙♀️
Wow! that is so awesome, i love it and got totally lost in it. I mean everything is just perfect, brilliant guitar, piano playing and passionate vocals with such a voice.. a perfect live-act, that to me reach peak in "memorial beach" and "hunting high.."(which is incredibly powerful and to me pleasingly different to the overproduced sleek radio version) simply pure enjoy!
(btw. won't pass any comment here on any someones breathtaking beauty and stunning charisma for sure. just keep it myself, promise! ;-))

It is an amazing concert , no doubt. Personally though, I think all three are equally good looking in their own ways. I am in love with them all. More so for their minds, hearts, and souls for that is where the true beauty and magic is❤❤❤

Oh Morten was such a tease at 5:48. If I was the girl in front of him, I would die knowing he stood THAT close but unable to touch haha. And of course he HAD to do all that touching session during "Touchy!" :D Gotta love him
He does that a few times in this show, there were a couple times (during The Sun Always Shines on TV, for ex) where they did get a hold of his arm and he really had to pull away. Other times that I just knew someone was going to grab him in a certain area... there were a few that got close, LOL.
