Yea there's no shoulder bars, all there is is a seat belt and a lap bar. I like the ride. My grandpa use to work there and he said he had to repare the thing it hits when you go up cause the coaster went all the way to end and hit them.
BambooSandwich The lap bars hold you in your seat. If it was not for the lap bars, yes, you would fall out of your seat, though the lap bars are strong enough to not let that EVER happen. The g-forces do go below one during the loop. Just your friendly neighborhood nerdy enthusiast here to help. ;)
While it's definitely intimidating when you're watching, it's 100% worth experiencing! The launch is super fun and the backwards loop is a fantastically bizarre sensation!

I'm going to Knott's soon and I want to ride this but ca someone please tell me how safe it really is? I know that inertia makes it so that you can't fall out when the ride goes upside down with just lap bars but I'm still scared
At Disney's animal kingdom I rode the expedition everest and it was awesome but I hated the feeling going backwards which is why I will never ride any backwards ride again
Cedar fair needs to start adding some actual rides at Knotts. I mean knotts is great but when u look at cedar point and kings island it makes knotts look like horse shit

You might want to check your facts... Xcelerator is the one that does 80 on the launch (in under 2.5 seconds at that).
