I think you buried the lede -- how are you getting such great audio in this video? The mic (rode?) is halfway down your chest and pointed away from your mouth, it looks like...?
Hi, Great video. I would love to be able to use Variable ND filters, but when I use them, I get either the horrible dark cross on the footage (from ND filters that are built from two polarising filters) or the ones from K&F that seem to be made from two layers of very small holes. These produce a different pattern, only two dark patches, top right and bottom left, from memory. I have stopped using them (either type) as it makes the footage unusable. Am I using them incorrectly, or is this a problem that can be mitigated?
What lens to buy as a go to film maker looking for lightweight setup with gh5? I currently have sigma 18-35 its a payload I can’t afford to bear all the time.

You should ask Kondor Blue for that GH6 cage. I don’t know if it works with the XLR though.

Do you have weird shadows when using nd filters? Usually with wide lenses

I think the lumix vario 12- 35 2.8 mk II is amazing and super light
The 12-35 also has stabilization, its a nice lens
Absolutely agree, My 12-35 2.8f was so nice I honestly bought it twice!!
So glad I just switched to Sony after using the GH5S for years. Can’t believe how long my images were so bad. Just the absolute worst colours.
Plenty of good examples of great colors from gh5/gh5s. Just because you had user error doesn’t mean it has the worst colors lol
