Hello can you let me know what was your experience like staying at the Spanish court hotel? What is it like getting around kingston.

Valine Richards Hello! We really enjoyed our stay at Spanish Court Hotel. It’s very contemporary, the staff was friendly and hospitable. The breakfast was great, not sure about lunch and dinner because we ate out. The rooms are clean and I found it overall to be quiet. They have security, so not just anyone can come to the hotel which is nice. I would definitely stay there again. If I had to make a complaint it would be with the taxi service offered at the hotel. I scheduled a taxi to the airport with the hotel and they quoted me a certain price, but when the cab driver dropped me off at the airport he quoted me a higher price. I told him what the hotel quoted me but he said it was wrong (he hustled me). It was almost double the price in US, which I was messed up! So beware because they see you as a tourist and feel they can charge you what they want. My family and I got around by family and friends who live in Jamaica, however we also have a driver that we know in Jamaica who will take us where we want to go (for a fee). You definitely want a driver who knows the area. At the airport there’s a boat load of them, it’s a little overwhelming because everyone is vying for your business, but I would encourage that you get a driver. I hope this helps.
