History:
In this violent spaghetti western, a murderous thief hijacks a pay train, kills everyone on board, and then hides his loot. A gunfighter finds out about it and decides he wants the money for himself, so he hatches an elaborate plan to get it. Lure the thief into a rigged poker game, and then a shootout ensues. The fast-drawn gunman does a short job for the thief, then teams up with an insurance agent to search for the hidden fortune. Unbeknownst to them, the thief had an ace up his sleeve ... "Excuse me ... Io No!" alias. "God Forgive .. Io No!" It is not only the first movie with Bud Spencer and Terence Hill in the lead roles, it is also one of their best movies. Although the film has many jokes and humorous parts, "God forgives ... I don't!" It's not one of the usual Spencer / Hill comedies, but a pretty brutal and pretty serious Spaghetti Western.
"God forgive ... I don't!" It is definitely the most serious and brutal of the Spencer / Hill collaborations. Regardless, the movie also has many of the typical ingredients from the Spencer / Hill movies, such as the numerous fist fights in which the Spencer character uses his typical technique of hammering a punch.
Spencer and Hill show that they are not only great as a team in comedies, but also a serious Spaghetti Western. Another highlight of this movie is the great performance by Western spaghetti star Frank Wolff as the evil Bill San Antonio. I also really liked the score, especially the part with the somewhat aggressive and dynamic classical chorus.
In short, "God Forgives ... I Don't" is a great Western Spaghetti, not like the usual Spencer / Hill movies, but a pretty brutal and serious movie, and definitely one of his best collaborations. 8/10 "Written by Witchfinder-General-666 on IMDb.com

Aunque usted los vea en estos westerns con pocos diálogos; Spencer y Hill son actores muy talentosos y se nota una creatividad escénica que se ve pocas veces, pues a todas luces ellos se salen de los libretos y superan lo esperado por el Director de la película. Son muy buenos actores. 8-22-2020
