Speak the truth about how obsessed these men are with our hair!!! whew chile.. especially BM they're always in our business. Black women are beautiful and trendsetters' period and definitely go where you are celebrated. My fiancé is Asian and he could care less about what I do with my hair and is always complimenting and supporting me so ladies please love you first and the right one will come along
Lol cmon man this is a video to celebrate y’all innovation and how y’all are trendsetters for basically every aspect of feminine fashion. Why u gotta shade us and glorify how another race treat you individually? Nonetheless congratulations on getting engaged✨🥂, peace and love queen👍
Baby Phat was one of my favorite brands in my pre-teen years the clothes didn’t look super childish and made you feel fabulous even if you were younger and I still have my large bamboo name plate earrings ☺️
We were so glossy, shiny, glittery, and reflective in the 2000s lol. I think we'll see variety/creativity come back when fashion swings back into a more casual era. Economically and socially I think the US in particular is in a very conservative era, and we're just not in the position to be as free as we were in the 90s and early 00s. Mariah's Bulls jersey dress is still so hot to me. The lace-up split hem that showed extra thigh was a big deal to me. I'll be rewatching this to relive my childhood and get some inspiration for today.
I’m 29 and when I was 10 all I wore was baby phat. My best birthday outfit was baby phat head to toe. With my stunna shades on. I was such a lil diva 🥰
I miss the 2000s. The 2000s was my young childhood, I was in elementary at the time. Raven Symone was my fashion muse. I loved what she wore on That's So Raven and The Cheetah Girls. Baby Phat was my favorite fashion brand. You did a really good job with editing this video...you always do a good job on your videos.😘
I love us and how we always set the trends 😍💖 I loved all of Beyonce's looks in the 2000s she was such a glamourous doll and made everything look beautiful just so feminine
I love this video! As a kid I had the denim baby phat dress and that meant soo much to me! This video was informative as always and I also love your message that uplifts Black women to love themselves and their features. I also fully agree with your point about non Black people who want to copy our beautiful styles and then call it ghetto 😒. Thank you for these vids! They’re so well done.
The 2000s was really the best so many different looks and not just one type of look being pushed by the media like today and the natural beauty and shapes today everyone looks the same and it's tired. I loved the laced up jeans, baby tees and name chains
I 100% agree with you I was a teenager in the early 2000s and it was a great time for urban Ware and fashion I still remember getting my fetish shirt when eve was doing clothes and Mr. Dave Olathe's trends are being repeated but it's not the an amazing time at least to be a teenage girl and are boy if you were in the street where but also lip Q at the same time
This video is so well researched on the trends back then and how they’re resurfacing. It’s so beautiful to see all of my favorite it girls/muses on the screen 🤧👏🏾💜👏🏾👏🏾🤧 I still have my nameplate necklace and earrings to this day. I actually need to get my earrings fixed lol
This channel is so nostalgic😍😍😍😍 but jeans only lasting a few months? Where yall getting jeans from 😂😂 mine still last yrs and decent brands like Levi's, target brands, Lee and gap still hold up well and are under $100
This video was iconic and much needed. Can't wait for you to hit 100k subscribers because your channel is so underrated, and you put out amazing work 💟
I’m so happy I came across this channel. I love that you bring to the spotlight, black fashion in our influence especially since you’re a black woman doing this it’s very amazing to see. 💓💓🙌🏽
I thought you were gonna talk about the cowboy hat 🤠 era I burned my senior year down with every color in 99 …. Sidenote I was today years old when I found out enyce is pronounced NYC ( En-Y-Ce)
We ate so good with black fashion in the early 2000s. What I loved most about how different and creative everyone looked, even the men's fashion didn't look like carbon copies!
This was such an amazing video I missed Thursdays of the most incredible fashion and elements of all types of fashion especially open wear and straightware being a teenager and that early 2000 twel it's everything the closed style having major brands have variety for people of color it was such an amazing time it's not the same as it once was but I hope we get back to being individual listically styled again it was a great time I remember the baby fat outfits I had they were so awesome I remember Rockaway echo I can name so many others that were so influential To why I love fashion to this day I'm almost 36 so this definitely brought back some cold memories especially going to school yes if he had a main plate chain the clothes you were the most popular kid in school those days were cool tennis it thanks for making me really love my teenage years and was awesome to watch but keep up the great work
We know Kimora is MIXED! she never said she wasn’t she’s talking about brands that were popular in the black community, you want her to say “Mixed race Kimora Lee Baby phat brand” everyone knows that she is half Asian

I had a name plate necklace in 03 because of Beyonce ( It was featured in People style) I thought it was so cute lol
If men want a certain response or behavior of women, they need to offer incentives. Otherwise, I thought I heard a broke, NAB said something.
LMAOOOOO heavy on the NAB because they're always the loudest ones like we're checking for them to begin with
Carrie Bradshaw looks like Michael Bolton in the face.
The nerve of her to throw shade on our culture 🤬
