Got mine today. I think they changed the design? The shrader vavle is now stored inside of the unit. I like that pretty red color of yours!
I put mine in my ebike bag that I carry with me on the bike. 🚲👍
that is a good improvement. we have their ball pump to review and it stores inside too I think. guess we will find out. we do like the red color. cool you can bring it with you with your e-bike. our road bikes we like to travel light.
@@Appmyhome I'm quickly learning the big differences between my past mountain bikes vs e-bikes! You have to carry tools. I've already had to readjust my front wheel on a ride. 🤗
interesting. we keep thinking about getting e-bikes but haven’t made the leap yet.
@@Appmyhome I was doing well until I had an accident. Got hurt, not seriously, but I now carry hesitation. I'll get over it.
There's things to learn. These things are fast & heavy. It wasn't the speed though, it was a bad surface of a wash out in gravel. I'm now studying videos of how to handle situations. 🤗
Be sure that the batteries are UL listed & that the bikes come with good customer support. 👍
ouch. Valerie had a fall just like that in gravel while riding an e-bike on vacation. they are so heavy hard to control when in a rut. good tip on the batteries. hope you get over your hesitation soon.
The most important part of this inflators is what adapters are used and in what order on the schrader, presta valve etc. None of these inflator manuals describe nor show this. And it is not intuative. I am a life-long bicyclist and I can`t figure it out. Just today I bought a Sakaki inflator, highly rated but manual gets no clues of how to adapt the end of the hose to the schrader value or any other. A close up picture of this would be a world-wide service. Thank--you for any assistance
hi agree sometimes it is confusing. in this case there was a brass tip threaded on one end and the other has an o ring inside. that is the side you put over the shrader. just screw in the tip to the hose.
how to charge it? how to see if it is now charing? how long it take to fully charge?
Hi Serghey, it charges via the USB-C cable. You'll need to have your own power adaptor though. Not sure how long it takes to charge. Don''t recall it taking too long.
Mine always seems to be flashing red battery when it's turned on. It's so annoying! I wanna go on my new bike!
I just got this pump. I cannot get it to start pumping on my presta valve bike pump.
I found it depends on the valve type. some you just push on, make sure its all the way down, others if screw type you need to make sure its fully turned. Also make sure the adaptor is completely screwed onto the hose. I also push the valve down myself before attaching to make sure the valve seal is broken free so I know it's open (I do this even when using a regular pump). Hope the suggestions help.
Should show closeup of parts to clarify which is PrestaShop adapter.
good idea
you don't have to screw the end of the tube to the tire valve? how it's hold there?
If I recall here it held on with friction. There is a rubber gasket in the end of the adaptor and it held tight. Really depends on if you have a smooth stem or threaded.
How much does it weight?
they claim 0.5 Kilograms or about 1 lb 2 oz. the question we had is will we carry it with us on our bike rides:) yes
Does it have normal PSI read outs? Not a clue what 110lbs would be for a bike 23psi ish what alot run on Emtbs
it shows psi
Shame we have no idea how long it took to air up the tire.
under 5 min. yes a standing hand pump would be faster but this is easier on the arms. which of course is handy for those that need the assist.
What button did you hold to get light on. Give us a clue 😮😮
It is the button just below the display. check out min 4:33 to see.
I don't know I pressed in and started pumping. But the numbers go up and down... and I heard air leak. I tried pushing in more but it wouldn't go in anymore. I don't like this Presta design at all!
My valve seemed to work fine as you saw in the video. Keep in mind you do have to hold it on. After trying it on other bikes, I've noticed it will depend on the type of valve stem, smooth, threaded or partial thread. if it is threaded it seems to be easier if you loosen the valve first, then screw the adapter onto the valve stem and then screw on the hose. only hard part then is when you take it off, getting it off fast to avoid too much air escaping. I've been looking to see if someone makes a presta host with a clamp to replace the one that comes with it. You may also recall when you loosen the presta valve you have to push it in to break the seal, even when using a regular hand pump.
This pump is awful for presta valves!!
I find it makes a difference if the valve is treaded or not. plus need to make sure the gasket is in place.
