It's not hard to hack your way out of prison.
1: Go to your bunk, try to relax
2:fall asleep until morning.
3: repeat steps 1 and 2 between 365 and 30000 times
4: keep doing this and eventually it will trick them into letting you walk out of prison! I know it sounds crazy but it really works!

Joe, did you ever have to cook food in a "hot pot".... the best piece of 'fried' chicken I ever ate was cooked inside a chip bag that was submerged in a warm pot (of course we had modified that bish to actually boil water)

Why didn't you take tattooing as your job after getting released? You had seven years of training with fcked up machines, you can have an actual good tattooing machine and just tattoo whatever you want.
I'm not sure but sometimes when people get realeasef they are banned from certain things. Maybe he wasn't allowed to do so for money during his probation? I'm not 100% sure btw! I hope he will answer this himself! He sure has talent! Would be a shame to go to waste!!

When I was a C.O. I used to find devices that inmates had made. At first, I would confiscate these items and write cases as I was trained to do. But after a short while I realized that the guys are just trying to get by from day to day. So I started to "overlook" things that I found but then after a little while longer, I wanted to let the guys know what I was doing. So I'd do my 3 random cell searchs each day and if I found a soldering iron, or a couple of motors or something not dangerous, I would remove it from its hiding place, put it on the table in plain sight, then while letting the guy back into "his house" I'd say something like, "well I didn't see anything in there today, but you may want to find a better hiding spot". I started getting a lot more respect from the inmates, even guys from other buildings started listening to me without grumbling about what I was asking them to do. It made my job a lot easier. I'm out of the job now, but still see that inmates are people too!

A tube, 2 sponges, a rubber glove, some lube, and a little love.
Now you just need a steam oven, a stinger, a pencil lighter, a tv remote (long stick), and you're set.

Joe, another quick idea that popped into my head as I'm watching your video, when you're talking about the air brush geniuses and the like you suggest that there are folks who make phenomenal art (I knew guys who would make top shelf bandana art among other pieces), maybe in future videos you could include shots of examples of said art pieces. I'm sure that a quick web search would yield examples of whatever you're discussing, you could integrate it into the video..."Some guys make museum worthy Christmas cards..." . You catch my drift. Hey Joe just wanna say thanks, your videos have helped alot over the past few months, I'm 15 and I got arrested twice in 1 year I was on the verge of being sent out to a group home and then maybe even being locked up. Glad I found your videos before it was too late. Now I am in probation and doing much better thanks too you, getting locked up was all I could think about how I thought it would be a good idea to go ahead and do stupid Shit and hurt my family and friends , thanks for the help man I appreciate it love from Pomona Ca❤

Using electrical resistance of graphite to make a soldering iron seems within his skill range.
...In fact, you have access to electrical stuff & an AC outlet. You could make all sorts of stuff with that. You could make a stove, a radio (the kind that transmits,) hell if you wanted to, you could make a projectile weapon. (Google "gauss gun.")
If a mechanical engineer ever wound up in prison, and decided to put his skills to use, hoo boy.
