The total weight of my Accura 95 H Type R is 351 g compared to 368 g of the Accura 100 H Type R. The 17 g weight reduction split to - 10 g (59 %) off the rear part and - 7 g (41 %) to the tip part compared to the 100 H. As I say the main weight reduction comes from the shorter overall length, but I find it quite interesting although the rear section is stronger it seems there is not significantly more material inside. Weight reduction of 17 g (4,6 %) as well as the shorter length (18 cm) make the Accura 95 H so convenient to handle.
Thanks bro - yes I took my time for a reason. I wanted to test it properly and build my opinion to give you my proper experience rather than talking about catalog information of the Accura 95 H. Tight lines bro!
Nice review Max, thank you for it!! It would be nice to test it and feel the difference between 100H and 95H. Especially, I'm interested in a long fights, as you said in a video, that you can put more pressure to the fish, but aslo vice versa, fish can and will do it to an angler. Maybe I'm wrong, but I believe 100H provides maybe more maneuvering space, from lure weight range to better absorbing pressure from the fight.
@@hrvojegezin4869 thanks for your feedback bro. I'm also keen to fight a big fish with Accura 95 H especially the behaviour of the short blank and the power it provides during the fight. In my review of Accura 100 H I have footage of a fight with a big Amberjack. The rod is bending a lot and I was quite satisfied with that action! Can't wait to see it on the 95 H. 🙌 Greetings Max
Many thanks Max for these great reviews; they are really helpful since it is not usually possible to test those hight end rods at most stores!. I have just bought a Sonio 93 (partly thanks to your video comparing it with the Sonio 100, another contender I had i mind) having in mind pencils and jigs up to 80gr and it seems it would be a great pair together with this 95H. In fact you mention the 95H would complement the Accura 100H from a pure jigging perspective, but as I do more of lure fishing than jigging I have the impression the Sonio 93 and this 95H would even be a better combo. What do you think? Btw, I do my fishing in Tenerife, Canary Islands, but species and shore tophography is similar to that of yours :)
Hi Petro, I'm happy to hear that my review helped you choosing the right zenaq rod for your fishing purposes. As for your question, I think Sonio 93 M and Accura 95 H are a great pair. Sonio 93 M covers all the lighter lures as the Accura 95 H is for the heavy game and big fish. Tight lines Max
Great review Max.I realy dont like the new reel holder and ring made from cheap looking plastic.Few issues are allready posted in Zenag Angler page in Facebook.I prefer to stay with my old Acurra H RG.All the time you reccomended to use PE3 braid. Is this so important?I use PE4 braid line with 0.70mm flourocarbon leader for targeting big fish like amberjacks, tuna and swordfish in Greece without any casting or another problems. For smaller fishes i use Sonio 100m RG with PE2.5 and 0.60mm flouro. Please will be very interesting to me to hear your poin of view. Thanks and keep doing mire exiting videos.
Thank you very much Nikolay! Regarding the new Hexagon Reel Seat - have you ever fished it? I fish it for two years straight now on Accura 100 H Typer and 95 H Type R and I love it! As I say in my videos I think its a huge improvement compared to the old one and I never had a problem although I caught big fish. The problem you mentioned (I saw it too) occurred with one rod on the Spinning Hexagon Reel Seat, not with the one on Zenaq Shore Jigging Rods. Regarding the braid and leader. My suggestion for PE3 braid is more because of a technically background. PE Braid floats so it effects on sinking rate as well on movement of the jig, the thicker diameter is also affecting your cast and the line gets easier taken from wind and current. Briefly said I try to fish as thin as possible, at least when we talk about jigs. Zenaq Sonio with PE 2,5 braid is perfect! Swordfish 🤔 that sounds like a deep spot. Maybe the 95 H is interesting for you. 😅 Greetings and tight lines! Max
