We love that you referred to the NPR reporter as Hallmark’s Cinda Canning. Once again…great synopsis. We also knew within the first 5-minutes of watching the film that this one was a winner. Finally, we have good film for Spring into Love. Great review!
I work adjacent to a library and they definitely do "blind date with a book" in February (around Valentine's). It's exactly as it's shown in the film- with brown paper wrapping and a description.
Oh no, did you enjoy it? We thought the main premise of the "blind date with a book club" was fun, but I guess there could have been a more significant conflict (aside from the bookstore and his fake identity)? But yeah, it did have lots of charm and felt nice and cozy.
I absolutely agree. And the lackluster costumes. She didn’t have to be all decked out in fancy clothes, but I used to work in a book store. Everyone who works in bookstores have an eclectic style and this was a missed opportunity. This was quite dull to me.

Thanks PTV!

Can’t wait! 🍿
I feel like this was a movie with lots of charm but almost no plot

It was a little meander-y, but I feel like the hijacking, and impending bad reviews were enough to compete the circle for me 🤷🏻♀️

It was boring.
