Hi Felicia - good question. As long as your table is high enough, so that you're not looking down at it, it could certainly work. For example, putting the easel up at face-height on a book shelf, or piano, or bench (and sit lower), it could work. Good luck with your playing :)
Can you help me? My high notes on my flute aren't playing properly. I know how to play them its just they aren't working. They just sound like I am blowing air when I play them.

one thing i realize I have to do is that I have to arch my lower back. I need it to get the air compression needed while keeping mouth and throat open.
Oh how interesting that you need to arch your back! If it gets uncomfortable, you can next try not arching your back and seeing if you can still keep your throat open. Good luck!
