I love that Yanis loves learning new skills and that Billy and Mick are so encouraging as they teach and he learns. Lifelong learning is something we all should strive for. Thank you to all of you for modeling this for everyone. 👏🎉❣️❣️
I love how your dad just says it how it is. He’s amazing and always makes me laugh. He reminds me of my late dad the way he talks. You’re all so lucky to still have him. 🥰
Great work as always. I think the reason why we all enjoy watching your story unfold is simple. Here we see honest people, with no bots, high pressure sales, or lies doing real work with optimism and grace. You are an inspiration to us all.
Another awesome day with the hard working crew at the Convent. The journey has been not only educational but an example of strong drive and determination 💪
Epic shire music for Mick and Yannis opening in this episode. I have never seen a cement mixer look so classy and mix a master concert pour for the Convent Masons. Well done Billy. You are quite the “tech savey” and will repurpose the convent into a state of the art space for the whole town. Enjoy your rain date travels and evening away! You deserve a break and @ NICE dinner!
I can not get over how many trades Yanis is picking up by working at the convent....it is wonderful and he is getting very proficient at all of them.....well done Yanis and thank you Billy for encouraging Yanis and helping him out. Love it!!
I love how you have thought ahead on how to make the most of the rooms you have already renovated. Yanis and Mick are stalwart masons, braving the cold and do a great job. Cheers to you all! Have fun in Leon and have a drink for me!
Billy, you sure know that technical stuff, and do a fine job! Yanis learns another skill from a master!! He is going to be set for life with all his talents thanks to you and your family, Billy. It is a wonderful thing you do! Hope you, Yanis, and Phil have a great time on your road trip! Looking forward to seeing the wallpaper process! Love from Pennsylvania 💕🌷🐻
Mentioned how we missed your dad last week and what do you know..hello Mick. Looking well, all our best to the family. Billy, Yanis and Phil the dynamic trio, cheers.
Hi Billy. Wallpaper sounds a great idea. A couple of suggestions. You will need a large flat surface to trim them down. Also, store your fresh rolls upright so you dont get warping. Worked in a large format digital printers for over 20 years. We had cutting tables that were about as big a snooker table for reference. Keep up the great work.
What amazing progress inside and out! Every project brings a new character and beauty to the convent. BillyMick, and Yanis, you all are absolutely amazing!!! Thank you for sharing all your insight and talents. Take care and be safe! You're always in our prayers. May the Lord bless you and keep you; may He show you His favor and have mercy upon you; may He watch over you and give you His peace. Numbers 6:24-6
Yanis, now you are a stone mason!!! You totally amaze me. And Mick, what can't you do? So far I haven't seen anything. I'm excited for the new scanner and all the possibilities it brings. Have a fantastic weekend.❤❤❤
Yanis your gonna be the JACK OF ALL TRADES. Very handy to have in case you need a second job. MUCKY MANSION! Heater sounds amazing. Never saw anything like that.. enjoy your day tomorrow and hope you get some relaxing time.
Billy, I'm sure you know how amazing it is to have your father around and be able to use all his knowledge. Yanis is very lucky, as well, to learn from Mick. The Petherick's are such a wonderful family! Safe travels and hello to Phil. 😊
How exciting that you will be able to save the old wallpaper patterns! Having all that scanning and printing equipment will be priceless in restoration efforts.💖Say "Hi" to Phil for us.
Hope you & Yanis have a nice relaxing dinner & drinks, Billy! I do have to tell you that both you & your dad are amazing teachers & so much fun watching Yanis learn new skills that he learns so quickly too! 😊
Thanks for referring! I sure do like to watch you guys doing something that's totally different from what's done in the US I feel like I learned something. Don't know I ever use it on anything but I know it. Ha ha! Take it easy driving tomorrow. ❤❤❤👳♀️❤❤❤
I enjoy your informative channel about growing your life and businesses in France! Your entire family is very industrious and smart! I am glad most are well again!
Hello, Billy!! Mick, your dad, is an expert when it comes to concrete. I've watched him in the past working at the château. And he's passing his skills on to Yanis. ❤❤❤ Chuck in Northern New England
Hmmm wonder if it would be helpful to use hinges on the metal grid doors to keep out animals. You’ll be able access to rescue any smaller stowaways and also clean out the spaces when needed!
Intrigued with the wallpaper reproductions you’ll be creating with the printers and computer. Another period element in your enhancement of the convent.
Hi Billy - I now have a Mesh Wifi system at home and it is wonderful It has transformed using wifi here - Used to have separate zones and different wifi connections - was such a pain. Yanis is willing to learn and take on any jobs needed. Great team.
So cool you're doing the wall covering from start to finish inhouse. Those three blokes outside and their relationships with each other are super lovely, there's no other word for it
Yes! You thought of it yourself.... scanning wallpaper from Pannard. Some of the papers there are so beautiful. I am guessing there are papers at Bagmaignee and La Lande that it would be great for as well. Stephanie could use Michael's help with the peacock wallpaper they are about to destroy so it can be replaced (probably already in the works since they just talked in Italy). 🧡
I'm still hoping that they'll reveal what if anything came of their visit to the Lincrusta offices. Michael found that beautiful textured wallpaper and they were interested in reproducing/recreating it.
Looks chilly at the Convent. Our cousin has been posting beautiful pictures of her neighborhood in the snow. IN HOUSTON, TEXAS, USA. We are in Southern California, USA, experiencing wildfires in every direction (none close to us, so far). Powerful wind gusts coming from the desert of the Great Basin of the SW US.
Billy, I spent my entire career in information technology. It always interests me when you guys are doing anything in that field. Can't wait to see how the wallpaper project progresses. Have a great weekend!
With everything you have taught Yannis to do, he’s going to be unstoppable!!💪😎!! You should consider taking on more apprentices!! Nothing like free 🆓 labor!! Greetings from North Carolina ❤!
Have a lovely weekend in Leon with Phil. Be sure and hit all the antique shops you find. Yannis is such an eager worker, he seems to want to Learn any and everything in reference to construction. 💕🇺🇸 from Texas, where it is cold.
Great job on editing your videos. I love hearing the cinematic scores of music layered in with the sounds of activity. For me it really is quite lovely.
Doesn’t matter what you do Billy we just love you channel and you don’t give yourself enough credit you are an amazing an talented film maker carpenter and man of so many trades. Thank you for what you do for Yanis and your dad is incredible for his age best wishes from Australia Brian & Sue
The heaters look superslick and elegant! I know you explained the level of the soil going up-up....I must go watch your last video again to better understand why the soil has to be so high... Wish you all a super fun trip tomorrow! ; ))
It's my dream to see on your channel a playlist with a long videos like coworking: for example 1 hour of stone works without music in the real time, 1 hour video rainy day in the convent ( just rain , roof ,nature ,garden), and so on. Many people use co-working videos and ambient videos for more productive work everyday. The viewers of your channel gain motivation from your work everyday from this short 15min videos and of course many of us want to work along with you. Long coworking videos are not about the new information it's about the company. And I think it could be amazing having the company of you, your dad Yanis or Simon.
By the time Yannis has finished his Petherick Apprenticeship he will he a Jack of all trades and a master of all.
How can Yannis's skills be recognised? I suppose he has to take exams??
Or he will be buying his own chateau to restore
@@carolinebrett2634Maybe there will be a school for apprentices ❤
I think hs'll be working for Billy for awhile yet.
@carolinebrett2634 he just needs a portfolio of work he has done. If he needs work elsewhere he just shows them his past work.
I love that Yanis loves learning new skills and that Billy and Mick are so encouraging as they teach and he learns. Lifelong learning is something we all should strive for. Thank you to all of you for modeling this for everyone. 👏🎉❣️❣️
Everytime we turn around that Yanis is learning something new, thanks Mick
I love how your dad just says it how it is. He’s amazing and always makes me laugh. He reminds me of my late dad the way he talks. You’re all so lucky to still have him. 🥰
I didn’t understand what mick said!
I can’t wait to see you recreate the wallpaper Billy! ❤
Great work as always. I think the reason why we all enjoy watching your story unfold is simple. Here we see honest people, with no bots, high pressure sales, or lies doing real work with optimism and grace. You are an inspiration to us all.
You are so right.
I agree, no hard sells of sponsors items either. But seeing products actually being used daily would sell more
It's so gratifying to watch the enthusiastic progressive growth of a skilled craftsman, in Yanis.
Never tire of listening to these music tracts! Excellent choice Mr. Petherick!
Another awesome day with the hard working crew at the Convent. The journey has been not only educational but an example of strong drive and determination 💪

We will be looking forward to the up coming wall paper designs. Thank you Mick Billy and Yanis for all your hard work.
I love how you have thought ahead on how to make the most of the rooms you have already renovated. Yanis and Mick are stalwart masons, braving the cold and do a great job. Cheers to you all! Have fun in Leon and have a drink for me!
Love the idea of saving those old wall papers!!!! Can’t wait to see the finished product somewhere in the future.
I'd love to see the original wall papers preserved under glass on display in the Library once it's completed
Yanis has such an ability to pick up any type of skill with his hands. Fantastic
Your all making the building come alive it great to see. Thank you from all the history buff.Have a nice time in Leon with your mates .😊

Great filming as usual. Thank you for the update and have great fun!
Great plan to use the office space Billy. I am looking forward to the new projects at the convent. Have fun in Leon, safe travels!🇨🇦❤️
If you sell that after all the hard work that has been lovingly done, I'll ( a literal nobody ) will never forgive you. Great work Dad and Janis!!
it would be a huge mistake to sell the place! we absolutely love it!
Maybe you will see a nice Antique store on the trip on Friday have a great weekend guys
Yannis is a wonderful person and such a hard worker. When he finishes his apprenticeship, he should have a great future.

I wonder if they sell them in the usa?
Exciting times ahead. 😊🏴
Excited for the scanner and all the wallpaper printing!
Yannis, Mick, and Billy are all "THE MAN"
Always fun to see UA-cam add their out-of-context and unwarranted content-warnings for anything about masonry.
That did make me laugh!
Me too. 😂
i loved the intro with sam and bilbo mixing up 2nd breakfast... tee hee hee... only playing.. i adore your dad and yanis... much love xxc
The stonework looks great! 🎉
