Just bought my first smart watch (Galaxy Watch 7) 2 days ago. Your video was great for a new user like me, thank you! I have a question I hope you can answer. I've created several custom photo watch faces. When you create a photo face, it automatically keeps the name from the "template" photo face, which is named Photos. Since I made several, I now have several custom faces all named Photos. I can't find where (or if) I can rename each of these to a more meaningful name.
Yes, the OnePlus Watch 2.0 has the ability to rotate the buttons, I am glad the Galaxy Watch7 does that too. Did Samsung add a lap button for workouts?
Can you message or call from the watch to your own phone? Example: If I give the watch to my kid and i have the phone at home, can we contact one another?
Just FYI a lot of these work for other watches that have the latest one UI as well! (I have the beta on my galaxy watch 4 classic and I could adjust a lot of the same settings)
You can schedule sleep mode now on the watch and don't have to sync it with the phone, in fact I didn't have that option at all (don't use a samsung is maybe why?)

@@19JustMike83 My experience so far is that it will barely do two days if you turn off the AOD but leave the sleep tracking with all options on (sleep, temperature, apnea, oxygen, temperature). With AOD on, it is about 1.5 days. It might still improve with subsequent updates though. Looking at the battery usage, 16% is Samsung Health, which is expected, but 10% is Google Assistant, don't know why since I used it like once today.
The only complaint I have so far is you can't add a battery level indicator to the watch face you show in your video. That watch face is my favorite but battery level is not available for any of the complications in that watch face.
i am using my watch with oneplus 10 pro, it's great but the only thing i wish i had is the ability to answer Whatsapp calls on the watch, this feature is unfortunately samsung exclusive

Beware! Went from 5 Pro to new 7 watch and now l'm completely unable to turn off health app related notifications. The options that used to be available to adjust are now completely missing so I'm forced to be distracted with annoying alerts such as Daily Activities Set etc. I can't turn DND on as I' miss the alerts I actually want. How are we going backwards Samsung!?
The 5 Pro and 7 Ultra def have the longer battery life. My reg 7 needs charging every 1.5 ish days of moderate use instead of 2 to 3 days my 5 Pro would last

Interesting video. The sad part about all those features, most of elderly people are not able to go through the complex menu details. They are too far hidden and too complecated.
What I do NOT like about this watch is I have to charge it alot. It only holds 40 hours where the ULTRA will stay charged for about 100 hours. I am finding with this watch I have to put it on the charger constantly. I lose at 30% of the phone charge every night. Fitbit and my Galaxy 3 held better charges than Galaxy 7. Extremely disappointed in this phone for charging
You're a genius except that you're too fast. I've struggled to keep up even while pausing video. This is my first digital watch and you've thought me things that employees of the phone shop that sold this watch to me do not know.. My main concern was to stop those annoying health notifications & dozens have helped me but to no avail. I'm happy to view your video. Thank you so much for sharing your expert knowledge. Do you have to use a Samsung phone for this watch or can you use any Android phone
To get most features out of it, you need to use a Galaxy phone. Otherwise it's possible to connect it to another Android device.

I'm left handed I wear mine on the right hand with the buttons to the left. I love that you can do that now.

There is no rule and you can configure it however you like and I explain it in the first tip.

Hi, i tried that ticking watch part in your video, but i do not seem to get it working. Set tikking on, sound is on and i used the same watch face.

U can turn it on as in only workout falling, or everytime. For me it worked many times

I have the watch 6 lte version but battery last for only less than 2 day. So same battery issue is in watch 7 or its difference..?
It's not an issue, their suposed to last about that
It can do over two days if you turn all the tracking and AOD off. With sleep tracking and around 2 hours walk tracking I could make barely two days.
Since they Switch to wear OS battery life is only supposed to last around 2 days. Unless you go with the pro or the ultra version
My 7 battery very poor, not lasting more than 9 -12 hrs what can I do.

It didn't work well for me 1st few days but now works great as part of the new Energy Score.

70 year old here and i disagree, i find the watch easy-peasy to operate and a great enhancement to my life due to all those features...
