This deck looks super fun, and would probably be at least Rogue level competitive if Konami would release a new banlist to cut down the current meta a little, which I think is very needed, because I'm sick of Ishizu cards, Tearlaments, and to a slightly lesser capacity the Spright cards. I think Rokket Bystial is actually decent already in the game, so I think I could cheese some wins with this deck at least at locals. Thank you for making these deck profiles man, I love your channel so much. It's so much fun, I love that you don't take it too seriously and share "for fun" decks, because although I play to win and want to win, it's still a card game. It's SUPPOSED TO BE FUN. Lol a lot of people forgot that it seems. Keep it up bro; I'm always happy to see what deck you show us. Good job
skill drains work great in blue-eyes deck as they get 3000 atk monsters out so easily and has a nice interaction with heavenly spheres where the effect can still active then resolve in grave
I think I'm gonna add one or two Red-eyes Darkness Metal Dragon, but I'm not sure what to cut for it. Is there a reason you didn't or wouldn't play DMD with this deck?
Imagine if they made a Saggi retrain for the Eyes of Blue series. With the ability to directly set the Virus traps. And make it so any cards sent to the grave by say post errata Crush Card Virus are banished face down instead.
whats the bricking rate with this build of BEWD? I've been interested in upgrading to the bystial variant, but id rather know more first before dumping approx. $300 AUD on just the bystials alone

maiden hasnt been used in blue-eyes for a few years now while its a great monster with an awesome effect its been power crept to much plus with dark ruler no more, imperm and ash running around her effect may never go off not to mention that veiler and droplet exist in the meta as well. sage is the better searcher/summoner
Sage with eyes of blue works better if you add blue eyes abyss dragon because once abyss is summoned you get to add a ritual card from deck to hand and at the end phase you get to add a dragon monster so it essentially allows you to ritual summon on your end phase Blue eyes abyss is mandatory in any blue eyes deck
thats not how it would work, you cant ritual summon in the end phase thats illegal you can add the ritual monster to your hand yes but you cant summon it during the end phase you would have to wait till the main 1 of your next turn. also stone of ancients allows you to use both effects in the end phase stones effect allows you to special out a blue-eyes monster so abyss would get his special summon effect to add either a ritual spell or a poly to hand then you would also get the level 8 or higher dragon search in the end phase to trigger. sage is great because its versatile you can summon it to add a level 1 light tuner to your hand or you can use its discard effect to blow up an effect monster to special out a blue-eyes monster both effects are great, i tend to use the discard effect more but thats just me
Which is significantly cheaper than Ka$htira. If you're playing rogue right now, you're playing Ninjas, Dark World, Plunderpatroll, Floowandereeze, etc. All which are very affordable ESPECIALLY compared to Ka$htira.

this is more or less a copy of a build made last year by team samurai x. why has this shit become the norm, making nasty looking hybrid decks that use engines from other archetypes instead of making decent pure decks
true light isnt that good a trap while it lets you summon blue-eyes for free the moment its destroyed the monsters on board go to the grave and because of that Ultimate Alternative ultimate goes to grave because its sent not destroyed. the wording is what fucks it up.

Cut back the amount of BEWD monsters in you deck. Keep it at 5 and add more support monsters

if i play effect veiler in any deck i always play 3 sage with eyes of blue since it can search a level 1 tuner and veiler is a level 1 tuner

it is not searchable unless the card says fusion card or poly with abyss dragon you can only search out poly
