I don't speak mandarin but the lead actress sounds childlike/girly to my ears. I cannot understand why a character that can handle sabotage can still behave recklessly and pout and cajole. I would more consistent characterisation traits. I do not enjoy this kind of regression. Also I am here for Zhang Wan Yi, after his excellent performance in the Liu Zhou story. If I didn't know better I would think this was filmed five years ago. His presence seems younger in this drama. The Liu Zhou story is much better. The female lead has better characterization.
The plump girl is annoying. Is she supposed to be 12? I cannot imagine a young woman in this era to be so 'un-accommodating'. This must be artistic licence at play!
