Kyrie is sick. The beat is sick. Lebron has never played with a point guard like Kyrie. Then all he needs is a rebounder (Kevin Love) and its ring time again.
I can already see them raising that trophy into the air. They're looking very dominant right now and I cant see another team that's going to be capable of stopping them, especially in the east. They're being judged heavily by their slow start, but that just means that they're going to shock a lot of people in the post season.

It's not about the and-ones and the best crossover, its very entertaining. but, they need each other. Lebron needs Kyrie and kyrie needs Lebron. it's a teammate thing, so don't go saying "lebron is the best" and "the team would be useless without him" cause' you damn well know that he can't do it alone. Look at Stephen and Klay (aka Splash Bros) They made it. That's it "they" not "him" or "he" because everyone plays a part, its a team of course. And yes, Lebron became sort of a hog in the finals, and failed because he needed Kyrie. Shumpert and Dellavedova and Waiters tried it their all but kyrie was out so Stephen took his advantage, many people still claim that steph was trying to take kyrie out (and succedded) and mess him up to take home the W (because kyrie was an problem). Kyrie Irving HD- I'm Not a Superstar, I'm Overrated.
Basically, everybody but Cavs fan think that Kyrie is a superstar player that is capable of being the best player on a great team. And yet Clevelanders are supposed to be the stupid ones.
Fact is, Kyrie has yet to even lead his team to the playoffs. And before people say that the Cavs have nothing around him, when he missed 8 games late in the year with a knee injury, the Cavs went 4-4 with Dion Waiters leading the way. IIRC, they were 5-6 in all the games that Kyrie missed this last year. Not a huge sample size, but a significant portion of the season. They ended up winning 33 games, so 5-6 is close to their winning percentage for the whole year. Point being, the Cavs were not a much worse team without Kyrie on the floor last year, in fact, you could argue that they weren't were at all, if not maybe even better. He's a great scorer, but he tends to take bad shots, turns the ball over too much, and isn't committed to the defensive end of the floor. Now some of that could be because of his relationship with Brown, but he also had the same problem with Byron Scott, a guy known to be able to coach young players. So is he just uncoachable?
EkumPokum no he's not uncoachable remember he's only like 23 or 24 so this season he'll have Wiggins and waiters so he will have a decent squad but the only problem for the cavs is consistency the only consistent person is kyrie that's why in his 2011-2012 season he was the 1st 2nd and 3rd scoring option. If Dion was more consistent then I'll agree with you but there both young so they're going to get turnovers

Of course he's young and there's going to be growing pains, but the lack of defensive commitment is worrying to me because there are plenty of other young guys committed to that end of the floor, Wiggins included. To be committed to that end of the floor though, you have to tweak your overall game a bit because that end takes a bit out of you.
Don't get me wrong here, Kyrie has a huge ceiling and will be one of the best PGs in the game eventually, but right now, I would say Lillard, Wall, Rose (when healthy), Westbrook, Paul, Parker, and Rondo (when healthy) are all better than Kyrie. Even at his peak, I don't believe Kyrie could be the best player on a championship team. I believe the Cavs peak with Kyrie as their best player would be something like 50-55 wins.

Lillard was definitely looking better earlier in the year but he did slow down a bit, and he has the same problem as Kyrie in terms of committing to the defensive end.

Already one of the best PG in the league. It's amazing that with only 20 years of age he has become the leader that the Cavs needed since the departure of LeBron. Now with Bynum, Bennet, a more experienced Waiters and Jarrett Jack probably coming off the bench finally my Cavs have a chance to make the playoffs in the post-LeBron era.

Kyrie is clearly #1 because he's only 22 years old and he's already an elite player. The man hasn't reached his peak yet and he's already destroying other point guards. He just added defense to his game this year and he already won point guard battles with almost every PG on your list, including the ones that you put over him.
You're clearly more of a fan of the pure point guard, but everything has to evolve and scoring point guards are the future.
