very nice ... but we can also keep it only for starting activities within range of 5 weeks , and then use the default in-progress filter in combination with it

Can I make a filter which says activity status is equal to not completed (which gives all the in progress and not started activities) and start less than or equal to DD+5weeks (which filters out activities which will be starting upto 5 weeks from now? I can use "all of the following" condition in this case.

SIR THANKS, HOW ABOUT I WANT TO FILTER THE WBS, FOR EXAM I HAVE CIVIL WORK AND ELECTRICAL AND HVAC I WANT TO SHOW ONLY THE ELECTRICAL AND HVAC AT THE SAME TIME MAKE A LOOK AHEAD.
