This is very accurate. I actually enjoy watching a narcissist shut down or rage cause they lost. I've dealt with narcissistic types my whole life from friends & family to inmates when I was a corrections officer. Narcissist hate it and melt down when they can't get an emotional reaction out of me and get out in their place. I also call them out when I recognize their predictable tactics of gaslighting, blame shifting, deflecting. Every narcissistic person uses these tactics of DARVO(Deny, Attack, Reverse Victim/Offender). I enjoy watching them meltdown stemming from my very strong sense of justice and fairness. I can't stand narcissistic types.
I have to say that I am surprised at some of the cult that has sprung up around Sigma men. I learnt about this term several years ago when a few people characterised me in this way. I searched the internet and found that this personality type was actively talked about. What I want to say is that there is nothing special about it. This personality structure has its pros and its cons. Although can they be characterised in this way? I'm not sure. As with alpha or beta it all depends on how life circumstances play out, whether your life is satisfying to you. Believe me, there are Alphas whose characteristics lead them to the last line. There are Betas who are happy to be in a passive role, e.g. in family relationships or at work. It's similar with Sigma. For example as you get older, you notice that your internal subconscious filter regarding your choice of social circle or soulmate is no longer perceived as a good thing, you start looking at how others are surrounded by a huge number of people, a kind of benign envy arises. You definitely just shouldn't idealise certain traits. Somewhere we win some, somewhere we lose some. Personality is a much more complex concept and cannot be summarised in three or several more types. P.S. Excuse my English, it is not my mother tongue.
I don't know how many times I look back and wonder if I cut some people off my life too soon or I didn't show enough how much I felt. It's nothing I can change but sometimes I wish some people heard my side of the story. I get what you mean.

In my case, if a person makes me feel repulsed or I see that he is insincere, I try to stop communicating, but without unnecessary emotions, gradually. Each time the situation is different. Sometimes it is impossible, but such cases are extremely rare, since I have been very picky since my teenage years. But there are situations when it causes harm, of course.
