i love it a man after my heart i just added a m 35 amp and the yamaha dsp1 as a secondary system along side my main system and run it to 4 outlying speakers for effects only an it blows away any surround sound amp ive been privy to . when i kick the church reverb on peoples jaws drop what a cool addition yamaha for days !!
I had the MX1000 but i didn't like the VU meters there to small compared to the M65/80/85 ect ect. Now i use 2 M65's with the C65 splitting the signal on the pre output, with 4x AR Acoustic Research SRT380 Studio Recording Transducer speakers! 👍

Yes, the amplifier is checking the protection circuit to make sure everything is in proper working order before turning off the light and allowing the amplifier to be used.
What did you do with the M-70's and are they still working? I have the C-70, T-70 but left my M-70 behind with an ex-wife and still hope it's still alive, but would love to get a hold of one of your good ones, just in case??
I'm sorry Anthony but I sold all of my M-70's and replaced them with 2 M-80's 1 M-85 and 1 MX-1000, now I'm getting rid of them because I've upgraded again with 2 PC-2002's and 2 PC-4002M's.

Couple questions sir what is that little movable bar for I thought it was volume or is it for the sonic noise level could you explain it for me do you use it ? Where do you have it set at? Second question if I turn my eq off I have no sound did I set it up right? Some times I just wanna run straight from the c-4 pre amp?

@@jefferydanielssr.8182 some Dali's yes definitely, but not if the is tone controlis neutral. I can feel the 850's in my chest, I have not pushed the others that hard though. You gotta find the right amp If you want to push them to their absolute limits

did the m-70's overheat? you can't stack'em, nice set up but you should put 3" fans on top of those Yamaha's, they hot!!
My M-70's for two years were always stacked never once did any one of the four I've owned overheat at any time..
