Peter played my Father's Theater in Chicago 3 different times. On the 1st time I knew nothing about PG, other than he had been the lead singer of Genesis. As I watched the Soundcheck of a band called Johnny and The Polar Bears, I was munching on some freshly made Popcorn that filled The Uptown Theater with that awesome aroma we all appreciate as kid's. A man came up to me and asked if I would share some of my pop corn with him, I said sure, he asked what I thought of the band rehearsing on the stage? I remember saying I thought they sucked, And remember immediately hoping he wasn't their Tour Manager. He said he didn't think they were as good as his band but that he didn't think they were that bad. I asked oh you are in a band? he replied yes I'm Peter Gabriel.
P would love to have a conversation with Peter, and not just about music...He is a well traveled , and a well read man as well...There is much depth to his mind...
Thank you Frank Musillami for posting this!! It's a wonderful documentary. I got that first double vinyl Music and Rhythm WOMAD benefit record in 1982, and it was just what I needed in my high school time, to break out of the stiflingly thin commercial music and culture bubble. I relate to Peter's "good globalization" positive philosophy, and seeing this documentary in capitalism amok 2017 is just what I need now. From San Jose, through music and the presently neutral WWW, to you, wherever you are...
I remember '77 in South Africa. I lived in Jo'burg as a child, having emigrated from UK in 1972. The country burned, rioting everywhere. We got on a plane from Smutts airport and flew back to Britain. We lost everything. The first thing I saw on telly at the hotel at Heathrow was 'Thats Life !' It certainly was !!

Rene Rabiela I'm from Chicago but sadly never made it to the uptown, you are lucky indeed.
It's nice to see Peter in his "Really World Studio's" to bad he doesn't live there anymore.
What a great artist. He´s got something to say, really....

36:42 Says it all. PG has a great way of crystallising ideas.

I would love someone to ask him his world view, i,e. Religion, Mysticism and if he is really a wizard graduate of the London school for wizards...
